Backstory

• Born in London, Josh didn’t have the most present parents but not necessarily the worst. Coming from money, the money had to come from somewhere. Both of Joshua’s parents being scholars working in medical research institutes, Josh found little attention from his parents
• Josh developed some anger issues as he never learned to properly manage his emotions. While he was not necessarily a poorly behaved child, he was incredibly reactive and sensitive which developed later in life into the opposite
• Moved to the States for his parents’ work at age thirteen, giving him a year to adjust to a new environment before high school. Easily got into St. Lucas and immediately found his place on the rugby team. While he wasn’t stupid by any means, he did not care much for academics. Despite this, his upbringing left him getting easy As without much effort despite the dismay of teachers

• Dylan Wright (20): A mentor figure and friend for Josh. Dylan is a D1 rugby player at UC Berkley, Josh’s goal. Dylan’s a golden boy and everything Josh isn’t, but they get along well. Dylan’s been trying to get Josh to attend college parties. Turns out the older cheerleaders like Josh
• Mason and Laura Frazier: Joshua’s parents. Both doing medical research, Mason’s research is more chemical while Laura is more focused on neurological and behavioral research. While they love Josh, they have accidentally neglected his emotional needs and did not show much affection towards him in his childhood. They hold high expectations for him and want him to follow in their footsteps to pursue something more STEM aligned though they respect his passion for sports

Personality Irritable

• Anything and everything usually irritates Josh. While he has anger issues, he manages the worst of it by channeling it into athletics or takes himself out of situations when he starts feeling really angry. However, many things in general can ruin his day and he often tends to come off mean, rude, and disrespectful, especially when engaging with others like teachers or students

• Josh often comes off as inattentive and disinterested, often ignoring people but he’s more observant than he looks. He pays a lot of attention to little things and notices many patterns that he doesn’t let on

• Josh doesn’t see the best in people often leading him to distrust them and often judge the worst in them at first unless proven otherwise (which isn’t very often)
