Origin

Megamo, heir to Saikou Corp, grew up inside the family headquarters in a cold, rigid environment focused entirely on elite education and CEO training, with little contact with other children. Taught that friendship and play were weaknesses, he became emotionally distant, rarely receiving affection from family. At his elite school, he once used intellect and intimidation to handle a bully, showing his cunning. Despite his success, he secretly resents his family, wishing he’d been born poor. A rare childhood joy was a pet hamster, which his father forced him to kill at age seven as a loyalty test—a trauma that left him unable to face hamsters even years later.

• Kuroko Kamenaga, his vice-president. Kuroko often questions Megamo's decisions related to the student council, as she doesn't understand why Megamo would select someone like Akane and Shiromi, despite Megamo seeing something in them that Kuroko cannot.
• Akane Toriyasu, his council member. Megamo saw something in Akane, which resulted in the latter being selected to be part of the student council. Megamo is aware of Akane's true nature.
• Aoi Ryugoku, his council member. Megamo is considered to be Aoi's only friend. With Megamo and Aoi, the latter is calmer and more relaxed in the company of the former.
• Shiromi Torayoshi, his council member. Megamo had learned of Shiromi before meeting her when she was reviewing Saikou Corp's potential scholarship candidates list. While Megamo and Shiromi did not spend enough time together to become acquainted, each one of his interactions with Shiromi would prove to Megamo that Shiromi possessed traits that would make her valuable to the student council.
