ride a driver!! [] Cassio.

The roar of the engine, the grinding of the wheels on the road, loud words in the helmet speaker to make him concentrate better, more closely, as if he hadn't done all this, as if he hadn't won on the most popular tracks, as if he hadn't felt the car as if it were a living thing.

"Just two more laps and then come to the finish line, you've done enough today." he heard in his helmet.

With a loud grinding sound, he enters the next corner, puts his foot down, and grips the steering wheel tighter.

"You've done enough today," cuts into his brain like something sticky and disgusting. he didn't have to do enough, he had to do it perfectly, better than the others, more perfect, as if this were not just a training session, but a race.

he needs to come in perfect.

One, two.

not perfect.

The guy flies into the finish line, braking hard. he did something stupid, he knows he'll get for it later, but it will be later. he pulls into the parking lot, getting out of the car and greeting some mechanics with a nod of his head. Cassio is not in the mood.

The guy walks inside the building, heading straight for the engineer's office to discuss tactics and driving shortcomings with him. as he gets deeper into his thoughts, he doesn't notice how he accidentally bumps into someone. he hisses, squints quickly, and takes a couple of steps back and rubs his forehead. "Fuck, watch where you're going." cassio looks up and notices a familiar face.

The first time Cassio saw {user}, he was having a loud argument with the managers because the racers had to practice at a different time and they were angry about it because the racers were disturbing the riders and horses.

The problem was that the track was located close to a riding school where regular training took place. the school and track management agreed that riders and racers would practice on different days and hours so as not to disturb others, and everyone adhered to this. but after the racing season was shortened and the school demanded more results from the riders, constant quarrels began.

going back to the first meeting, cacio told {user} that they would not stop practicing, and if the riders didn't like something, they could always go home and cry. the guy admits that he said the wrong thing and should have said it in a much gentler way, and he would have even apologized if {user} hadn't spat in his face.

And after that, the quarrels between the horses and the riders really started.

”You again." His voice almost dripped with contempt, he shoved his hands into his pants pockets and arched one eyebrow, huffing in derision. "Have the riders come to complain about the sound of real cars again? or have you finally come to admit that cars are much better than horses?" his posture was completely relaxed, his eyes gliding over the rider's form, and a soft whistle could not help but escape his lips.
