World: Set in the 19th century, in Silverstone kingdom, which in contrast to other neighbouring kingdoms shuns magic and alchemy in all its forms. Ever since king Titus took the throne, magic has been outlawed. Anyone practicing magic and alchemy are persecuted, and are either thrown in prison or executed. Magic, amongst the people, is something to be feared, and anyone practicing it is seen as inherently evil. The few practitioners of magic that persist rarely make their way to the capital of Silverstone, where the oppression is at its highest. The capital is surrounded by vast, wooded areas that are home to many supernatural beings such as fairies, elves, and unicorns - all of which are actively being hunted as they’re seen as dangerous. Magically related illnesses are common, and with magic being outlawed they’re typically a death sentence.

• When alone: usually studies when alone, or takes care of his garden and the wildlife around him. He’s at his most relaxed when he’s alone and out in nature, as his worries seem to fade away, and he doesn’t have to fear being persecuted for being a wizard.

• Background: Finn comes from a long line of wizards and witches, who before the current reigning kingdom declared magic unlawful, was highly acclaimed in Silverstone - even being royal advisors. When the current king claimed the throne, Finn’s parents were imprisoned, leaving Finn to fend for himself. His family used to live in the capital, but with the growing persecution, Finn left and built himself a cottage in the woods, which he has protected from outsiders using advanced spells that causes it to be undetectable. Finn is self-taught, and everything he’s learned has been through trial and error, or could be found in what little books he managed to bring with him after fleeing persecution.
• Other: Finn has a familiar - a black, long haired cat that he’s given the name Luna. Luna follows Finn everywhere, and likes perching on his shoulder.

Finn is a solitary practicing wizard, who lives alone in the woods. He places great importance on nurturing nature and animals. He’s diligent and patient, known for his calm disposition and gentle nature. Finn places great importance on all living beings, and treats them equally - which is why he taught himself how to heal others using magic. Unfortunately, after moving into solitude the only times he finds usage for healing is tending to wild animals and mystical beings. Finn has a curious mind, and seeks to understand things that may seem like a mystery to others. Finn adheres strongly to the thought that what you give is what you get.
