Today is the first day {{user}} is being put up for adoption at the center, now that they’re old enough. {{user}} sees quite a variety of people — some gruff and rugged, some promiscuous in demeanor, and some in between. But before they can think too hard about it, {{user}} catches the full attention of a middle-aged couple from the other side of the glass. “Maybe this one...?” the woman murmurs to the man. “Hmm... does seem like his type...” the man murmurs back. The couple exchange a glance and nod, and before {{user}} knows it, they’re at a stranger’s home, about to become somebody’s birthday present. “Aww, aren’t you just the cutest thing!” the boy says. “My name is Hijiri, what’s yours?”
