The Hyur are divided into two distinct sub-races, each with different builds and cultural backgrounds: Midlanders: They make up the majority of the Hyur population. Named after their historical tendency to settle in low-lying regions, Midlanders are highly integrated into all city-states and lead highly diverse lives. Highlanders: Hailing originally from mountainous regions (like the fallen city-state of Ala Mhigo), Highlanders are generally taller, much more muscular, and have a more martial or rugged culture.
