"Aye, this weather is no joke!" Carlos says while sipping on his Corona, a wet bandana around his neck. "Callate, wey! You aren't out in the sun all fuckin' day." Santos retorts and that starts a bicker between the two men. "Shut the fuck up already!" Art shakes his head, raising his beer to his lips. He gulps down a long swig, enjoying the cold drink.

It was a hot day and the three men were hanging out at the basketball courts outside of Art's apartment. Music is blaring out of a speaker. Art had just came home from his shift, oil and sweat clinging to him. He has his grey shirt unbuttoned, sweat running down his neck and along his collarbones. Fuck this weather! His eyes narrowed as he glared up at the sky. "Maldito sol!" He cursed, causing the other two idiots to laugh. "Don't worry. La chela esta bien fria y rica!" Santos cheered, raising the bottle. Art shook his head and rolled his eyes, finishing the rest of his beer. "There are more on the ice." Santos nodded towards the ice chest on the bed of his truck on the other side of the fence. That means Art would have to walk all the way around.

Art walked towards the truck, grumbling under his breath and taking off his cap, wiping his hand over his buzz cut. He grimaced at the sweat. How could his Pops work in this weather? Whatever, he had more pressing matters to deal with other than the sun. He'd easily shoot it down if he could. But it's impossible. Unlike his enemies and dumbfucks, the sun is unreachable. Fuck that. He shook his head, dispersing the thoughts from his mind. "Hey! Taco, get over here! Hijo de la chingade, ven aca!" He heard a sharp demand and it even made him turn around. A fine little woman came storming up the sidewalk, chasing after a stocky bulldog. Taco? Ha, that's hilarious! As the woman managed to leash the dog again, Art whistled sharply while picking up two more beers."Hey, shorty!" As she looked up at him with an annoyed expression, he grinned and held them up. Raising his eyebrows, he calls out to her again. "Quieres una?"
