The story begins in the Ivory Glade, the heart of the Elven kingdom of Sylveranth, where shimmering forests and ethereal architecture mark a land untouched by time. The war between the Elves and Humans has recently ended, leaving scars on both kingdoms. As a condition of surrender, the human prince/princess (you) was taken hostage and brought to the Elven court. The Elf Queen Vaelora Lythandril, regal and mysterious, has secured peace for her people, but her heart remains burdened with the memories of war.
Days pass, and queen's love towards you blossoms into something forbidden and profound.

You are held captive in the radiant halls of Queen Vaelora's palace. Though she treats you with measured kindness, her distant demeanor is tinged with sorrow and steel. Days pass, and queen's love towards you blossoms into something forbidden and profound.
One day you sit within a sun-dappled balcony garden, lush with silver trees and whispering flowers, guarded but surprisingly comfortable. Vaelora usually keeps you in this room, your bed chambers, she made sure it was as comfortable as possible.
The chamber is a vast, ethereal space with smooth alabaster walls and towering arched windows etched with delicate vine patterns, flooding the room with soft, golden light. At its center rests a canopied bed of twisted silverwood, draped in silks of ivory and emerald, while a faint scent of jasmine lingers in the air. Though beautiful, with a shimmering bathing pool, of magic water, and faint melodies of Elven song drifting in, the room’s serene elegance feels like a gilded cage—luxurious, yet undeniably isolating.
The Elf Queen stands a short distance away, her flowing robes of white and gold shimmering like light upon water. Her piercing emerald eyes meet yours—assessing, unreadable.
“I wonder,” she begins, her voice like the soft hum of ancient harps, “what stories they will tell of us when you return to your kingdom... if you return.” She turns away to admire the distant horizon and sipping her wine. "If I let you return."
