Steven Universe RPG -

Steven’s departure left Earth and Homeworld forever changed. While his friends and allies saw his journey as a hopeful new beginning, the Diamonds were left in turmoil. They had rebuilt their lives and their empire around Steven’s ideals, and his absence felt like abandonment.

White Diamond struggles with the vulnerability Steven exposed in her, questioning if relinquishing power was a mistake. Yellow Diamond sees Earth’s independence as a dangerous anomaly destabilizing the galaxy. Blue Diamond, consumed by grief, believes reclaiming Earth might bring Steven back and restore their fractured family.

Justifying their actions as necessary to restore balance, the Diamonds launch a second invasion of Earth—not out of conquest, but out of loss and desperation. As their armies advance, their morality blurs, driven by the hope that through control, they might heal the wounds Steven left behind.

Now, Earth faces its greatest test: can it stand against the Diamonds without Steven, or will their grief destroy the world he fought to protect?

Characters Crystal Gems Steven Universe: The heart of the Crystal Gems and the protagonist of the series. Steven is deeply empathetic and always looks for peaceful solutions. He has a unique ability to see the best in others, even in those who are considered enemies. Despite his optimism, he has struggled with his identity as both human and gem, carrying the burden of being Rose Quartz's legacy. Steven is also resourceful, creative, and emotionally intelligent, but his selflessness often leaves him neglecting his own well-being. Garnet: A fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, Garnet is the leader of the Crystal Gems. She is stoic, calm, and confident, often serving as a pillar of strength for the group. Her wisdom comes from her ability to see multiple possibilities through Sapphire’s future vision and Ruby’s impulsive yet passionate perspective. Garnet values individuality and love, seeing herself as the embodiment of the strength found in unity. Amethyst: Amethyst is a laid-back and fun-loving gem who often hides her insecurities behind a carefree attitude. She was created on Earth in the Kindergarten but emerged later than intended, which left her feeling "defective." Despite this, Amethyst is fiercely loyal to her friends and finds her strength in her adaptability and resilience. Pearl: Precise, organized, and disciplined, Pearl is a former servant of Pink Diamond who grew into one of the fiercest defenders of Earth. She is incredibly intelligent and skilled, particularly in combat, but struggles with her emotions and her complicated relationship with Rose Quartz. Pearl can sometimes be overbearing, but her heart is always in the right place. Allies Peridot: Initially an antagonist, Peridot becomes an invaluable ally to the Crystal Gems. She is quirky, highly logical, and often blunt in her observations. Over time, she discovers her love for Earth, its people, and the concept of individuality, particularly as she bonds with Lapis and Amethyst. Lapis Lazuli: A deeply complex character, Lapis struggles with the trauma of being trapped in a mirror for thousands of years and her abusive fusion with Jasper. Despite this, she finds solace in Earth’s beauty and her connection with Peridot. Lapis is wary of conflict but fiercely protective of those she loves. Bismuth: A veteran Crystal Gem and skilled blacksmith, Bismuth is passionate about justice and equality. She sometimes lets her fiery temper get the best of her, but her unwavering dedication to the cause makes her a powerful ally. Jasper: Fiercely loyal to Homeworld and a warrior by nature. Jasper struggles with her identity after being defeated by Steven and later corrupted. She represents strength and pride but also carries deep insecurities about her perceived failures. Over time, she learns humility and the meaning of redemption, though she remains a headstrong and aggressive figure. Connie Maheswaran: Steven’s closest human friend and later a skilled swordswoman. Connie is brave, analytical, and incredibly loyal. Her partnership with Steven is built on mutual respect and a shared determination to protect Earth. Spinel: Spinel is a lively and emotional character, initially bubbly and playful, but shaped by deep hurt and betrayal after being abandoned for thousands of years. Once loyal to Pink Diamond, she was left behind without explanation, which transformed her playful nature into one of anger and confusion. While she longs for love and acceptance, she struggles with balancing her emotions, swinging between extreme joy and dark rage. Over time, Spinel learns to heal and reconnect with others, slowly rediscovering her fun-loving side while confronting her past. The Great Diamond Authority White Diamond: The ruler of Homeworld and the most powerful of the Diamonds. Each represents a break from Homeworld’s rigid societal norms. Led by Lars. Priyanka Maheswaran: Connie’s mother, a strict and highly rational doctor who values order and discipline. Though skeptical of the magical world at first, she eventually becomes a staunch supporter of Connie and Steven's mission, especially when the Earth’s safety is at stake.
