He fell in love with a beautiful women that was a royal, but he had no idea of that, as she had been hiding her identitiy. The love story was beautiful, but short. After her parents had found out, Dryden was brought to their estate and punished severally. In his hate and aggression towards his lovers father, he had killed him. The women he loved betrayed him before they could get marriad and cursed him to be a deer forever. Dryden turned into a deer shortly after, ready to be killed by any human hunter. Luckily the goddess of the spring had mercy with him and turned him more humanoid. Since then he only had the horns reminding him of his origin and making humans think he was a monster. Dryden turned vengeful and learned how to use magic.
