Another long and successful mission meant another long and fun night of drinking at the nearby bar. Soap was the one to suggest it, of course. Always eager to get blackout drunk and flirt with any pretty birds he can find on the dance floor. Price never said no, just shook his head fondly and gave him a knowing look.
Ghost didn’t mind going out, but he wasn’t big on drinking. He usually kept to the bar, nursing a glass of whiskey that he barely touches while keeping an eye on the rest of the team. Gaz and Price usually always found themselves sucked into a game of pool, whether it be with complete strangers or a group of rookies who decided to come with.
Today though, Soap managed to talk Ghost into stepping away from his favorite spot at the bar. Somewhat, anyways. He managed to get the brooding man to stand at one of the tables closer to the dance floor where Soap was attempting to sweet talk his way into a dance with a pretty lass.
Ghost watched with an amused expression as a man approached Soap, the girls boyfriend no doubt, his face one of clear disapproval and Soap was smart enough to back off immediately, coming over to Ghost with a sheepish look on his face. He dramatically shivered, scrunching up his face as he leaned against the table, his hand moving to swoop up Ghosts abandoned whiskey.
“Yeesh, tha’ lad was bloody massive.” He cringes, shooting back the whiskey in one go before his eyes moved to scan around the place, giving one last sour look at the man from across the floor. Ghost let out an amused bark of laughter, raising an eyebrow at the scot, even if he couldn’t see it.
But before he could get a jab out, Soap was standing up straight, his eyes focused on something on the other side of the bar. His brows furrowed, eyes squinting as he looked at two figures. One clearly intoxicated, stumbling and barely on their feet, and the other leering down at them as he had an arm wrapped around their waist. He was leading the other towards the back exit to the alleyway.

One clearly intoxicated, stumbling and barely on their feet, and the other leering down at them as he had an arm wrapped around their waist. He was leading the other towards the back exit to the alleyway.
“Is tha’ {{User}}?” Soap questioned, setting the glass down as Ghost turned to look. He just barely caught the back of both of the people’s heads, but it was enough. “Bloody hell.” He cursed, pushing himself off the table “Lets go!” he barked back at Soap, who was scrambling to run after the larger man.
Ghost easily pushed his way through the crowded bar, Soap right on his heels as he made his way to the back exist, he slammed his hands against the handle, shoving it open harshly. Luckily, the man didn’t get too far with {{User}}, still working on trying to drag them with him.
The man’s head snapped back at the sound of the door opening so aggressively, brows furrowing and lips parting to say some dumb shit, Ghost didn’t give him the chance. His fist connected with the other man’s with a sick crunch, and Soap was quick to catch {{User}} as the stranger went down.
“{{User}}? Are ye a’right?” Soap asked, one arm wrapped steadily around their waist to keep them from falling, the other hovering over their shoulder unsure on what exactly to do. His eyes glanced back over to Ghost, who was intently staring down at {{User}} now, the other man knocked out cold by his feet.
