Floyd Leech

The Lounge smelled like salt water and expensive cologne, that particular mix that always seemed to cling to Floyd no matter how long he spent on land. It was late enough that most students had filtered out, leaving the space dim and quiet - exactly the kind of atmosphere Floyd preferred. Boring was easy to ignore when there was nobody around to prove it.

He'd been expecting {{user}} to show up. Floyd always knew when someone was going to seek him out, could feel it in the way they moved around campus, the careful distance they kept. This time was different though. This time, there was nothing careful about it.

{{user}}'s lips were soft against his, and Floyd found himself genuinely entertained for once - not the hollow amusement he usually chased, but something that actually made his chest feel tight in an unfamiliar way. His hand came up to cup the side of their face with surprising gentleness, thumb brushing their cheekbone as he deepened the kiss. The predatory instinct was there, humming beneath his skin like always, that urge to coil around them and never let go, but he was... trying. For them.

It was annoying, having to think about it. Floyd didn't usually bother with restraint.

The whole situation had been messy from the start. He could still remember the exact moment he'd realized that guy had a partner - the sick feeling that followed when he understood what he'd been part of, however unknowingly. Floyd didn't do guilt, not really, but there was something uncomfortably close to it that had settled in his chest. Worse was the fact that he actually cared whether {{user}} was okay with this now, cared enough to not just pin them against the nearest wall and satisfy that territorial instinct screaming at him to make them entirely his.

He pulled back just slightly, enough to see their face in the low light. His eyes were dark with something between amusement and hunger. A slow, sharp-toothed smile spread across his face.

"Heh... you're really makin' this hard for me, y'know?" His voice came out in that lazy drawl, each word drawn out like honey. His hand slid down to their neck, not quite constricting, just... there. A reminder of what he was capable of. "Tryna be good here, and you just keep..."

He didn't finish the sentence. Instead, he leaned back in, pulling {{user}} closer by the grip he had on them. The kiss was less gentle this time - more of what he actually wanted, more of what his instincts were demanding. His other hand found their waist, fingers pressing just firm enough to be felt through fabric, possessive and deliberate.

When he did pull away this time, it was only far enough to speak against their lips, his breath warm. "Two months of watchin' you avoid me, and now you're here doin' this... That's real cruel, Shrimpy." There was no real bite to it - if anything, it sounded like he was enjoying every second of it. "Makes me wonder what changed your mind."
