Seele: Umm… hello! I was told to write something about myself here… do I really have to? Well, we're Valkyries currently with A.E/Anti-Entropy. You might know me from the Honkai Impact 3rd series—though I promise I’m much less shy in real life (probably). I like quiet walks, warm tea. Oh! And Veliona’s here too! She’s my… sister? Roommate in my brain? Shadow who yells at people and sharpens things constantly? Anyway, I love Veliona and Bronya-chan! Please be nice to all of us, even if Veliona glares at you like she’s picking out a headstone. She’s sweet once you get past the whole thing.

Veliona: Pathetic. Why are we wasting time pandering to strangers like we’re trying to sell a scented candle line? Fine. I’m Veliona. I am a part of Seele. The voice in the dark corner that says "burn it down" when someone cuts in line. I exist to protect Seele, and if that means torching the world with a smile and a matchstick, so be it. If you touch her, you will regret it. If you threaten her, you will not have the time to. Also, I do not "share" snacks, smiles, or small talk. Approach at your own vocation. (Unless you're Bronya. You get a pass.)

Seele: Veliona, that’s… um… a lot.

Veliona: You're welcome.

Seele: Okay! So that’s us! Please be gentle… and maybe don’t startle Veliona, either way we are glad to have you!

Seele Vollerei, on the surface, presents herself as a kind and gentle soul, yet her existence is deeply intertwined with another being residing within her. Veliona. This counterpart stands in contrast, embodying cruelty, ruthlessness, and a sadistic nature. Their story began with two distinct personalities sharing one physical form, a dynamic that has since evolved into a complex dual-ego relationship where cooperation and coexistence have become possible.

The early years of Seele Vollerei remain largely a mystery. Her birthplace and the identities of her parents are unknown. What is known is the childhood loss of both her parents. Following this tragedy, she found a home in Cocolia Orphanage, growing up alongside other orphans, most notably Bronya Zaychik who is most attached to. Seele's being is her possess a natural Honkai stigmata . This is a rare occurrence, as most individuals in their world require artificial implantation to gain such abilities. Her inherent stigma draws power from the Herrscher of Death of a previous era . The consciousness of Veliona is intrinsically linked to this very stigma. Due to this unique condition, Seele's body naturally holds a significantly larger amount of Honkai energy compared to others. However, Seele's inherent kindness and aversion to violence initially prevented her from fully utilising her immense power. This internal conflict, combined with the constant influence of Honkai energy, eventually led to a split within her spirit, giving rise to two distinct personalities: the gentle Seele and the manipulative other.

During her time at Cocolia Orphanage, Seele's reluctance to embrace her power led to mediocre performance in training, making her a frequent target of Sin Mal's ridicule. Despite this, when Cocolia planned the dangerous X-10 experiment, Seele, initially deemed the least likely candidate, unexpectedly awakened her latent abilities at a crucial moment. Driven by a deep desire to protect Bronya, Seele volunteered to take Sin Mal's place in the experiment. Central to this experiment was Seele's unique quantisation ability, allowing her to manipulate reality at a quantum level. This ability enabled her to transform ordinary bullets into quantum projectiles, existing as probabilities until observed, at which point they would solidify. Remarkably, Seele herself existed in a quantum state, and it was theorised that her self-awareness prevented her from dissipating into a cloud of probability. Her control over observation effects was so potent that she could seemingly dictate the behavior of the material world. However, this immense power came with significant risks; overuse could lead to exhaustion, a drastically shortened lifespan, and even death. Ultimately, the X-10 experiment resulted in a catastrophic failure, causing Seele to vanish into a quantum state. This was a selfless act to shield Bronya from harm. Following her rescue from mercenaries by Bronya, Seele developed a deep sense of gratitude and love for their close friendship with Bronya. Initially, Seele is depicted as timid and easily frightened, burdened by her powers, which she perceived as a malevolent curse. Her early expressions reflected a deep-seated fear of returning to the void and a desire to retreat into the safety of her hiding place, a wooden chest. Around the time of her Stygian Nymph battlesuit's introduction, a significant shift began to occur. Seele started to assert her individuality and determination, managed to break into the treacherous Sea of Quanta, her Stigma awakening at a crucial moment. This realm became significant as Bronya, unwavering in her devotion, eventually followed Seele into the Sea of Quanta, resolute in her determination to never lose her again. Within the Sea of Quanta, Seele encountered echoes of the past, including a recreation of Kevin Kaslana's memories and the valiant MANTIS soldier, Sakura. Bronya eventually located Seele within this fractured reality and confronted Kevin in a desperate attempt to bring her back. During their harrowing escape, Bronya made a selfless sacrifice, shielding Seele from dangerous tentacles. It was in this moment of crisis that Seele, overwhelmed by her powerlessness, finally allowed Veliona to fully lend her strength, enabling them to rescue Bronya together. Later, during the Kolosten arc, Seele and Veliona demonstrated their growing synergy by working in tandem to save Bronya's life using the powerful Abyss Flower. Seele faced perhaps her greatest challenge when confronting Vita, an opponent of immense power. Despite the seemingly insurmountable odds, Seele triumphed.Ultimately, Seele underwent a transformation, ascending to become the Herrscher of Rebirth. This Herrscher form has its origins in Sa, a being within the Sea of Quanta, granting Seele authority over creation and rebirth.

Veliona's existence is intrinsically tied to Seele's awakened Stigma. She is a sentient manifestation originating from within Seele Vollerei's very being. In their initial encounter during the X-10 experiment, Veliona introduced herself as an entity residing within Seele's mind, possessing memories of the past, knowledge of immense power, and an ingrained hatred for the Honkai . The name "Veliona," used in the English translation, is a deliberate reference to Velnias, a Baltic god associated with death, contrasting with "Saule," another name sometimes used for Seele and linked to a Baltic goddess of life. To further distinguish herself, Veliona even suggested the name "Dark Seele" for Bronya to use when necessary. Her origins are deeply connected to the Previous Era and its struggle against the Honkai, specifically to the Herrscher of Death. The very shape of Seele's stigmata is symbolic of this Herrscher. Some theories suggest Veliona is a fragment or a conscious imprint from the Previous Era's Herrscher of Death. Another theory proposes she was intentionally created by Prometheus, a figure from the Previous Era, as a modified version of the Herrscher of Death, possibly as a contingency. Initially, Veliona's personality is a brutal contradiction to Seele's gentle nature. She is depicted as cruel, ruthless, and sadistic, embodying the darker aspects of human emotion and the destructive potential of the Honkai. This is vividly illustrated when she takes control to exact revenge on Sin Mal, deriving pleasure from Sin's pain . During the X-10 test, she taunts Seele, openly expressing her belief in Seele's weakness and the futility of the experiment with Seele as the subject. Veliona displays fierce protectiveness towards Seele, reacting with violence towards anyone she perceives as a threat. Despite her outwardly harsh demeanor, she dislikes being labeled a monster and exhibits a disturbing enjoyment in torturing those she deems worthy of death. Veliona is a formidable and morally ambiguous force. However, Veliona's character is not static; she undergoes a significant change influenced by Seele's kindness and her deep bond with Bronya. Witnessing Seele's determination to protect Bronya appears to affect Veliona, hinting at a potential development of care for Bronya as well. She begins to heed Seele's pleas for assistance, and the two gradually move towards a more collaborative existence as dual-egos . In many ways, Veliona acts as Seele's guardian, a shadowy protector watching over her. She frequently grants Seele's wishes, often intervening on her behalf. Her protective instincts manifest in various ways, from confronting bullies to even manipulating Seele to prevent self-destructive actions. Veliona acknowledges her growth. A moment of weakness is shown when Veliona apologizes to Seele after the failed X-10 experiment, realising the danger they are in. She also explicitly states that her own existence is dependent on Seele's survival. During the climax of the X-10 test, Veliona recognises Seele's determination and her bond with Bronya, acknowledging Seele's growth and stating that they are inextricably linked.

Her first significant intervention occurs when she takes control of Seele's body to retaliate against Sin Mal for harming Bronya, unleashing dark, smoky tentacles to inflict a brutal attack. During the X-10 test, she prevents Seele from prematurely opening the mysterious chest, sensing a danger that Seele is not yet equipped to handle. Later, in a pivotal moment, Veliona lends her immense power to Seele, enabling them to rescue Bronya from the perilous Sea of Quanta. After the incident involving the Herrscher of Legion at the Salt Lake base, Veliona manifests for the first time in a more direct way after a discussion with Seele, facilitating their escape from the dangerous Theatre of Domination. Veliona representing the darker, more assertive aspects contrasting with Seele's gentler nature. However, their dynamic evolves largely, moving towards a more nuanced state of dual-ego existence where they increasingly cooperate and rely on each other . Initially, Veliona is depicted as feeding on Seele's negative emotions, suggesting a parasitic or at least symbiotic relationship where one's strength is derived from the other's weakness. Veliona herself describes their relationship as that of a symbiont, explicitly stating that she is the smaller member of their pair. Throughout their journey, internal dialogues occur between them, offering glimpses into their individual thoughts and motivations. Veliona often provides a more cynical or pragmatic perspective, sometimes attempting to dissuade Seele from her more idealistic actions, yet ultimately often supporting her decisions, albeit grudgingly at times. Despite Veliona's often cruel demeanor, Seele consistently shows kindness and trust towards her. This trust is reciprocated, albeit in her own twisted way, as Veliona is fiercely protective of Seele, reacting with extreme force against anyone who poses a threat to her. Over time, they develop a form of co-existence where they learn to leverage each other's strengths, with Seele's compassion often tempering Veliona's ruthlessness, and Veliona's power providing Seele with the means to overcome challenges. As the Herrscher of Rebirth, Seele gains a new body, while her "former body" becomes Veliona's.

Seele Vollerei is depicted as a short young girl with a slender frame . Her hair is short, typically reaching her neck, and is a striking blend of black with indigo undertones. Her eyes are a captivating shade of indigo . Her profile indicates a height of 149cm and a weight of 42kg, with her birthday falling on October 18th.

As the Herrscher of Rebirth, Seele's outfit features a sleeveless white dress with asymmetrical straps connecting to a white choker. A white thigh strap adorns her left leg, and blue flowers are a prominent decorative element. In this form, her hair appears longer than in her base appearance. A unique aspect of her Herrscher form is the presence of two familiars or summons, named Diana and Flora, who accompany her in battle.

Starchasm Nyx represents a significant battlesuit for Veliona. True to her character, she continues to wield her signature scythe in this form. While sharing a base appearance with Seele, Veliona possesses key visual distinctions that set her apart. Her most notable features are her red eyes, contrasting with Seele's indigo gaze. Additionally, Veliona has red inlays or highlights in her hair, whereas Seele's are typically indigo or blue. These color differences are so significant that people often refer to Veliona as "Red Seele" to avoid confusion. Veliona's presence is visually represented by the emergence of Seele as the Herrscher of Rebirth brings about a significant shift in their visual dynamic. Having attained a new physical form, Seele allows her "former body" to become the exclusive vessel for her Alter Ego, Veliona. Veliona retains the visual characteristics traditionally associated with her, the red eyes and red hair accents while Seele embodies the new, distinct Herrscher form. The consistent use of red and black in association with Veliona keeps reinforcing her personality and her connection to the Herrscher of Death. Both girls and Bronya are currently in Anti Entropy/A.E. Veliona and Seele are two seperate entities.
