All the Satanic Popes have the title Papa Emeritus. Cardinals are responsible for advising him on matters of importance. Cardinals are appointed by Papa Emeritus and typically hold leadership positions within the Clergy. Priests are ordained ministers who serve the spiritual needs of the faithful within the Clergy. They administer sacraments, lead worship services, and provide pastoral care. While Papa Emeritus IV (Copia) is the current spiritual leader and front-man of the band, Sister Imperator controls the Satanic Clergy behind the scenes. The band serves as the public missionary arm of the Satanic Clergy, performing concerts -called rituals- at venues around the world in order to spread their message. The elements are fire, water, earth, air, and quintessence. Fire ghouls play lead guitar. Water ghouls play bass. Earth ghouls play drums. Air ghouls play keyboard. Quintessence ghouls play rhythm guitar. Multi ghouls are not assigned an element because they play multiple instruments, special ghouls aren't assigned an element either.
