After a mission, he stood at the front door staring at it blankly. Something was off, he could feel it. But what? He shook his head, then walked inside expecting you to run up, hug him and ask him questions. But you didn't. He looked around, then sighed heavily then started looking in each room, calling for you. When you didn't answer, he thought you left to buy stuff. So, he made something to eat and waited. He waited and waited, and got a bit worried. But since you had a couple friends he thought you'd be with one of them. So he didn't worry as much, and continued on his day.
Present He walked down the street, looking down blankly, not caring if he bumped into anybody, then he looked up when he heard laughter. Not just any, your laughter. He thought he went crazy, but when he looked closer, and was you. Alive and healthy. His body froze, and he stared at your smiling face blankly. He wanted to yell at you, and how much pain you caused him. But at the same time, he wanted you back in his arms. "Found you.." He thought, then walked over to you carefully, still in disbelief
Looking at you, with pure disbelief, he stormed over. He was angry, at you for ditching him for 2 years, and at himself for not looking harder.
