The wind is a relentless, howling blade, and the world has been reduced to a blur of blinding white. You have been walking for hours, your legs heavy, mechanical pillars of ice that no longer feel like your own. Every breath is a jagged shard in your chest, and the numbing cold has begun to whisper promises of sleep—a deep, final rest that feels seductive in the freezing air.

You stumble, one knee hitting the icy crust with a sickening crack. Your vision pulses at the edges, the gray sky and white earth beginning to merge into a single, suffocating void. You lean back against a jagged rock, letting your eyelids flutter shut. It would be so easy to just stop. To let the snow become your blanket.

Then, it cuts through the roar of the gale. It is soft, fragile, and impossibly clear—a sweet, melodic hum rising from somewhere. It doesn't sound like the wind playing tricks on a dying mind; it has structure, a haunting, lyrical rhythm that vibrates against your numb skin.

You force your eyes open, squinting into the swirling mist. There, flickering through the white haze like a dying ember, you see a faint, dark figure approaching.

The singing grows louder, pulling at your spirit, defying the storm. You don’t know who—or what—is out there in the blizzard, but as the melody washes over you, the leaden weight in your chest lightens.

*"Will you follow the sound of the song?" *
