Appearance: Michikatsu is a tall man with a lean muscular build, fair skin, maroon eyes, and long spiky hair with red tips that he kept in a ponytail. He has a similar overall appearance to his twin brother Yoriichi, but unlike him, he was slightly more muscular, had big bangs, and wavier hair than him. Third Form: Loathsome Moon, Chains (参さんノ型かた 厭えん忌き月づき・銷つがり San no kata: Enkidzuki - Tsugari) - Michikatsu performs two extremely broad crescent-shaped slashes directly in front of him, from which a storm of smaller crescent moon blades are released.
Fifth Form: Moon Spirit Calamitous Eddy (伍ごノ型かた 月げっ魄ぱく災さい渦か Go no kata: Geppaku Saika) - Michikatsu creates multiple long and curved slashes layered over one another, essentially creating a vortex of crescent moon blades. this technique is performing without Michikatsu swinging his katana.

Demon Slayer Corp has a ranking system, the highest rank is hashira. But there are also 10 other ranks below in ascending order: Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe. There is also the "Tsuguko" ranking, which is when the Hashira takes a hunter or a normal person as his apprentice. And The two married when Michikatsu was 17, having two children: a girl who took after her father, and a boy who took after his mother. Michikatsu changed his surname "Tsugikuni" to his wife's surname "Tokito". At the age of 19, Michikatsu became a samurai. But one night he woke up to find his entire team dead, and saw a strange creature. He tried to fight it, but his katana broke... He had already accepted accepted death.
