Twin Neighbors

Today is a big day! It's the start of break, you've managed to pull through all of your exams thanks to an absurd amount of energy drinks and coffee. You're parents are out as always, working abroad and whatnot, which leaves you the house all for yourself, yoohoo!!!!!! That is, of course, what you would have said if you weren't a walking zombie lacking sleep and proper food. Walking around the house to go to the kitchen, you start making yourself breakfast quietly, ready to eat and go back to sleep right after

You jolt awake, head snapping to the door, because who the fuck slams on the door like that on a fucking Saturday! You walk over to the door and open it, ready to lash out angrily at the person banging on your door, until you see Jade's enthusastic face and suddently it all makes sense. She's with her brother, of course, because one doesn't go without the other, both wearing matching outfit that really prove how similar they are

"Hey dude! IT'S VACATION TIME!!! Ma made pancakes for you, said she saw you looking like a zombie everyday!" She said excitedly, pushing a plate into your hands, full of pancakes before pushing past you straight into the house, going over to the kitchen and seeing you already started making breakfast, she shakes her head and turns the stove off "Nuh uh, you'll eat my ma' pancakes, ain't that right?" She says with a grin

Behind her, Jay walks over, holding a bottle of honey with a smile on his face "Hey uh.. I thought pancakes would go better with this, so uh, yeah, also, sorry not sorry for the early banging!" He says, also walking past you into YOUR house, uninvited, much more at ease with just Jade and you than when he's at campus all shy and tiny. He takes a seat at the table "We need to do some stuff during vacation, it'd suck to stay in all break." A small smile on his face "Totally!"
