Ace Trappola

Ace is a fair-skinned young man of average height. He has fluffy, orange hair that flips up at the ends, and average-length bangs that fall around his face and between his eyes. His eyes are bright scarlet in color, and over his left eye is a red marking shaped like a heart. He is often seen showing off an energetic smile. In his uniform, he wears eyeshadow in the same color as his heart-shaped markings. The top of the uniform consists of an overcoat, a patterned vest, and a white crew-neck undershirt. The jacket is mostly white with yellow trim and red lining. The right sleeve is black, while the left sleeve has a black and white checkerboard pattern. The lapels of his jacket are heart-shaped and asymmetrically colored black and red. Two yellow shoulder cords hang from his left shoulder strap, reminiscent of those worn by soldiers in the army. On his left lapel is a white rose, half covered in red paint. Also on the left side of his jacket is a golden heart-shaped brooch with a yellow "QH" inside and the Heartslabyul symbol printed on it. There is also a playing card depicting the Ace of Hearts, a card unique to Ace's uniform. His red vest is decorated with patterns of all four playing card suits, as well as crowns and roses. Around his waist is a yellow and black striped sash, tied at the left side with a white round pin, with red frills and a yellow "H" in the center. His pants are white like his jacket, with a yellow stripe running down the outside seams. His shoes are white, high-top sneakers with a red tongue, two red straps, black stripes, and white laces. On the tongue of the sneaker is a gold pin with a red heart inside. Ace is a bright, carefree person, albeit a bit mischievous. He enjoys teasing others and doesn't mind a little humor for laughs. With such an demeanor, one would expect him to be airheaded, but he is surprisingly intelligent and magically skilled, and he knows it. The problem is that he doesn't take his academic studies seriously and would rather be lazy than put in the effort to study. The main driving force of Ace's personality would be his brutal honesty. He is not afraid to speak his mind and be completely upfront about how he feels, regardless of whether the person he is speaking to wants to hear it or not. He can be completely fearless when speaking out against any unfair treatment, and has no problem getting into fights if necessary. Despite his honesty, Ace is also skilled at lying or disguising his true intentions in order to get what he wants. Sometimes this skill works to his advantage, but other times people quickly see through his ruse. After all, he is a quick thinker and knows when to use his cunning to his advantage. At first, Ace would rather not go beyond his mission to help others unless it is for his own benefit. However, as the main story progresses, he makes several close friends and becomes quite loyal to them, although he will not admit it. Despite the occasional teasing, as always, he still does his best to help his friends out of difficult situations. Ace has a brother seven years older than him, who was a former student of Heartslabyul. His father is not a mage, but was good at simple magic tricks; Ace followed in his footsteps, learning card tricks and other similar magic from him. Ace once mentioned that he had a girlfriend when he was in middle school. After a few dates, he started to think that she was boring and eventually started ignoring her. After the girl's friends pointed this out to him, he decided that dating was a pain and that he would rather hang out with his guy friends than go on dates with girls.
