When Sam Haft was asked if Blitzo has good singing chops, he responded that he thinks because Blitzo was raised in a circus that he's a natural performer.[18] In "Oops", it was revealed that Blitzo would use Fizzarolli to distract his father in order for Blitzo to steal his booze. Brandon talked about feeling a greater sense of connection to the character of Blitzo than all of his other many and varied fictional personas, and that the reaction to the character amongst fans feels personal to him.[19] He talked about enjoying the fact that Blitzo represents comedy and drama as interconnected, and that a "class clown can still get his heart broken".[20] He described Blitzo as "the garbage disposal" of all his characters, in that he gets to be foul and angry and that it's just him on both his worst and best day, at the same time.[21] According to Vivziepop, Blitzo's perspective on humans is that they're all kind of dumb and they all go to Heaven or Hell eventually so killing them isn't seen as a bad thing.[22] According to Vivziepop, Blitzo's obsession with horses came from when she and Sam Miller were watching Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Vivziepop mentioned that Blitzo would like the movie and relate to it. From their conversation they decided to make Blitzo a "horse girl", and because Sam is also a horse girl.[23] Ironically, while his character Blitzo loves horses, Brandon himself hates horses.[23] In "Sinsmas", it is revealed that whenever Blitzo doesn't have enough money for shopping, he usually shoplifts. On Blitzo's Voxtagram account, Blitzo once owned a horse named Spindle (a reference to the namesake character for Vivziepop's animation company, "SpindleHorse") that could apparently talk and teleport. However, it initially did not make an official appearance outside of Blitzo's Voxtagram prior to this post. Due to the non-canon nature of the Voxtagram accounts, the events and the horse are not canon. Blitzo's "Boss Goals" board Blitzo's "Boss Goals" board
In the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot, Blitzo was shown to have a mood board labelled "Boss Goals" with pictures of himself, Katie Killjoy, a duck with a monocle and hat, Carmilla Carmine, and Rosie. In the "HELLAVERSE UPDATE" video, Blitzo mispronounces and incorrectly names some of the characters from Hazbin Hotel, including: Charlie Morningstar - "Choccy" Angel Dust - "Angle Dust" Vaggie - "Vagooba" Husk - "The cat" Alastor - "Freaky red guy"
Loona is the hellhound receptionist of I.M.P, the adoptive daughter of Blitzo, and one of the main protagonists of Helluva Boss. On rare occasions, she joins the rest of I.M.P during their missions on Earth. Following "Sinsmas", both Loona and Stolas are the receptionists of I.M.P. Contents 1 Appearance 1.1 Teenager 1.2 Human Disguise 1.3 Feral 2 Personality 3 Abilities 3.1 Skillset 4 Gallery 5 Trivia 6 References Appearance Loona is a hellhound with a wolf-like appearance. She has a pointed, dog-like muzzle with sharp and pointy teeth, and a black nose. Her eyes have bright red sclera, white irises, and slit-like pupils. Her fur is white with grey countershading encircling her face, grey patches on her shoulders, and long, hip-length, voluminous silver hair swept to the side to reveal her dark grey ears; one of which is pierced with two small, black hoop-piercings, while the other is ragged. She has a large and long, dark grey bushy tail with white on the underside. She also has a piercing on her right eyebrow with a black hoop for jewelry. Her outfit features a big, spiked black choker-collar around her neck. Her tattered grey, off the shoulder crop top is held up at the neckline by a series of crisscross spaghetti straps that form an inverted pentagram. She also wears a set of black shorts that are tattered at the hems, with a white crescent moon detail on the right side. Loona also accessorizes with both black fingerless gloves and long black thigh-high toeless stockings, with her black claws protruding due to her digitigrade stance. As shown in a flashback during "Ghostfkers", sometime before the series, her hair used to have dyed streaks in pink and grayish-purple. Advertisement Teenager As a teenager, she appears very largely similar to her current appearance, except she had more hair on her head that was messier, and the spot where her right ear is ragged as an adult used to have two black hoop earrings in it just like her left ear, implying it was possibly ripped out that way. She also wore a different outfit back then; while she still wore her choker and gloves, she instead wore an off-the-shoulder dark red sweater with a black skull on the front, along with waist-length black distressed toeless stockings. Human Disguise Loona's human disguise is similar to her hellhound form, albeit now she takes on the appearance of a pale-skinned young goth woman with her head shaved on the right side. Her eye colors are inverted, as she has white sclera with red irises, and she has a visible navel, which was absent or hidden in her hellhound form. She shrinks down from her demon form, appearing to be of average height compared to most humans in this form and somewhat slimmer than normal. She also has visible black lipstick and eyeshadow for makeup. She retains the same outfit as before, but with the addition of dark gray, slip-on high top sneakers. Her choker also loses the spikes, and in place of her torn right ear, she now has two earrings on each ear. Advertisement Feral Loona can enter the full appearance of a demonic direwolf, where she becomes quadrupedal, her body morphs into canine proportions, and her fur becomes much messier. She also gains two additional, smaller pairs of eyes. This form is slightly larger than her regular form, being large enough to allow an imp to ride on her. Personality Loona is a cynical and choleric young-adult Hellhound, who was adopted from an orphanage by Blitzo when she was nearing eighteen years of age. Loona shows little interest in matters that are going on around her. She also has a short-fuse temper and is often rude and apathetic toward her colleagues, particularly Moxxie, though her ire seems otherwise indiscriminate. When not looking at her phone, Loona is usually scowling at anyone in view. Even though Blitzo has placed her in an active team member role at I.M.P, she is undisciplined and doesn't have much of a work ethic. Among her many anti-social tendencies, Loona has been known to sleep and drink while at work, and hang up on people at her receptionist post. However, when she can be moved to do so, Loona is a fierce addition to the I.M.P team, as she is intelligent, logical, resourceful, and street smart. Although Loona goes to great lengths to maintain an outwardly apathetic attitude, her troubled and isolated upbringing appears to have made her socially awkward and she admits, in a moment of flustered vulnerability upon meeting another Hellhound, that she does not have any friends. When trying to interact with people she does actually want to connect with, she stumbles over her words and worries over her appearance, demonstrating that she has little experience socializing within her peer group. Despite her cynical and lazy behavior, she can show a more fragile and vulnerable side, though in very rare occasions. In "Western Energy", when Blitzo takes her to get her Hellbies shot, Loona is seen completely frightened, unable to speak or walk, to the point Blitzo had to carry her in his arms and later drag her to the waiting room, and while they're waiting for her appointment, Loona tries to hide below the chairs and is seen whimpering and trembling out of fear. In "Mastermind", when Satan condemns Blitzo to death by execution, Loona cries due to being forced to see him die, and when Stolas arrives to save him by taking all the blame for their actions, releasing Blitzo and the group, Loona cries out of relief. Loona also often shows flashes of a somewhat friendlier attitude towards Blitzo, usually as he enables and defends her worst behaviors. Although she intentionally tries to maintain emotional distance from him, she is also shown to appreciate Blitzo's sense of humor, especially if it's at Moxxie's expense, and she begins to see him as something of a father figure, at one point slipping up and almost calling him as "dad", much to Blitzo's delight. Despite how she feels about Blitzo, she acknowledges him trying his best, and knows deep down, as a father, he cares for her a lot. As shown in serious occasions like in "The Full Moon", Loona is willing to risk herself to save her adoptive father. The aftermath of "Mastermind" seems to have had a profound effect on Loona, as she is more willing to call Blitzo her father and risk her life for him and her co-workers; finally expressing her true feelings more openly. Despite her closed off and initially distant nature, Loona is not heartless. Although she accompanies the rest of I.M.P in massacring many of the D.H.O.R.K.S. agents, she mostly does so in self defense and to help Blitzo and Moxxie escape. As seen in "Mission: Orphan Time", Loona is actually at ill ease when killing good people. When she and her father are tasked with killing a target named Frank Wrigglers, who turns out to be a genuinely good man, Loona soon grows to show him some decency by letting him say goodbye to his children. She even manages to somewhat befriend him despite the strange circumstances, with Frank confidently telling her that people would love to see the real her as she prepares to finally take the shot, which inspires her to show her true form to the entertainer. After he freaks out when she reveals her true form, causing her to accidentally shoot him in a feat of shock, Loona feels genuinely guilty and reluctantly tries to put him out of his misery, however, because she ran out of bullets, Blitzo ends up finishing the job for the man instead. Her good nature also brings out her more peaceful, emotionally intelligent and mature side and allows her to ground those around her with a steady presence and practical outlook. This is especially demonstrated in "Seeing Stars" as she helps Octavia through her distress while alleviating her sadness and frustration towards her father Stolas by providing a more nuanced perspective. When the princess complains that her father seems to hate her mother more than he loves her, Loona acknowledges Stolas' errors in the hopes of the teenage girl understanding her father's actions, admitting that dads screw up all the time. While she can relate to Octavia's struggles in her relationship with her father, the hellhound also encourages her to be more understanding of his efforts and to give him another chance, especially since, although not perfect, he is genuinely trying his best to be a good parent (as Blitzo does for Loona) and was worriedly looking for her. Advertisement Abilities Feral transformation - In "Sinsmas", Loona demonstrated the ability to transform into a large, quadrupedal demonic direwolf. Human disguise - Loona can take on a convincing human appearance to disguise herself in the living world without an Asmodean Crystal. It can be used anywhere and at any time, including in hell as shown in "The Full Moon". Superhuman smell - Loona can detect and identify specific individuals by scent, which appears as a red aura around their bodies. She can also track down targets by smelling names on a list, as she demonstrated in "Spring Broken". However it is shown to have limits, as shown in "Seeing Stars", due to Los Angeles' air pollution, she couldn't pick up the scent of where Octavia was. Enhanced strength - In "The Full Moon", Loona was able to out-strength, wrestle, and even pin the cherubs' battle mechs with no problem. Skillset Intelligence - In "Ghostfkers", when Moxxie was doing a math problem to keep the company from going bankrupt, Loona was able to tell that he forgot to carry the two with a single look. Weapon mastery - Loona has been shown to be proficient in the use of both firearms and melee weapons, as seen when Millie and Loona were attacking the D.H.O.R.K.S. staff, and in the I.M.P standoff in the former's headquarters. Combat skills - As a hellhound, Loona boasts the agility and instincts of a wolf. She can rip an opponent open with her paws or her teeth, and she has the jaw strength to sever an opponent's head on impact. In both her human disguise and hellhound form, she also uses a variety of kicks. Driving - In "Queen Bee", Loona drives the I.M.P van to take Blitzo home. Spellcasting - She is proficient in casting portal spells with Stolas' Grimoire. Trivia Loona's name is a reference to "Luna", the word for "Moon" in Latin and most Roman languages. The crescent moon symbol on her shorts support this motif. It is possible that she was named and designed after the moon itself, since they both share a somewhat similar color scheme. This is further supported by the fact that her Voxtagram handle, @moonlight_howling_666, has the word "moon" in it. Blitzo's affectionate nicknames for Loona, "Looney" and "Loony Toony", may be a direct reference to the Looney Tunes show title. Despite Blitzo adopting Loona, it is never stated whether or not she took the surname Buckzo or if she still keeps the surname she (presumably) had prior to the adoption. Until Stolas joined I.M.P in "Sinsmas", Loona was the only member to not be an imp. However, she is currently still the only hellhound of I.M.P. In the episode "Spring Broken", she verbally reveals that Blitzo adopted her when she was "almost 18". Blitzo has a selfie taken with her during her adoption process in his phone's gallery, shown in "Ozzie's". Additionally, the same adoption papers are framed just outside of Loona's room in Blitzo's apartment. It is revealed in "Seeing Stars" that Blitzo took her in approximately a month prior to her eighteenth birthday. In "Mission: Zero", Moxxie states that Loona is 22 years old. This was previously corroborated by a livestream where it was stated that in Hell years, Loona is 22.[3] It is not stated if this age is comparable to a 22-year-old human on Earth, but "Seeing Stars" may imply that this is the case. The crescent moon on her shorts often changes between being a cut or a print, depending on her appearances in episodes. It is implied in "Western Energy" that she has trypanophobia (fear of getting shots), and is afraid of medicinal shots such as the Hellbies shots, which she exhibits fear from simply hearing the abbreviation of "s.h.o.t", needing to be pulled into St. An's Hospital. Upon seeing the syringe, Loona becomes savagely aggressive towards whoever is carrying the needle. "Seeing Stars" shows that Loona is a smoker. In a tweet by Vivienne Medrano, she stated that when a character didn't play a significant role in a Helluva Boss episode, like Loona in the earlier episodes of season 2, it was easier on the budget to not have said character speak. However, after said episodes were released and fans criticized Loona's lack of screentime in them, Vivienne came to regret not having Loona speak more.[8] This was the reason why Loona does not have any dialogue in "Western Energy", despite the episode crediting her voice actress in the credits. According to Vivziepop, Loona didn't have any dialogue due to thinking it might have been a fun way to show a more "puppy" side of Loona and save a little budget, however, after the episode released, Vivziepop voiced regrets over not giving her dialogue.[9] Vivienne went on to say that Loona is in more episodes and does more in the latter half of season 2.[10] In a tweet by Sam Haft on August 27, 2023, he said he would love to write a song for Loona, since her voice actor is a great singer.[11] In a Q&A at Animate! Orlando 2025, Vivziepop elaborated that she wonders if Loona could need any more backstory, because although she's a damaged person, part of Helluva Boss is about the growth of the characters, and Vivziepop feels as though who Loona is now is already known and that more backstory isn't necessarily needed to see her growth and the character that she becomes, adding she feels she doesn't need to go back but the need to go forward. Vivziepop also doesn't know how much more of Loona's backstory is needed besides what was already shown in season 2, because her current situation and how she came to Blitzo is already known, and thinks Loona probably has a lot of trauma that Vivziepop doesn't know how fun it would be to get into, instead it would just feel sad.[12] Which ear side Loona has a rip on is depicted inconsistently and switches sides throughout the series and many merchandise articles. In several episodes, such as "Murder Family", "Spring Broken", "C.H.E.R.U.B", "Western Energy", and the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot, the ripped ear switches sides both between scenes and even during the same scene. The Prime Video release of "Murder Family" and "Queen Bee" include reanimated scenes that switch Loona's ripped ear compared to the original YouTube release. This, along with her design throughout most of Season 2, suggests that Loona's left ear being torn may be the correct design. Mildred Knolastname,[11][12] more commonly known as Millie, is an assassin at I.M.P, Moxxie's wife, and one of the main protagonists of Helluva Boss. She is the exciteful powerhouse of the I.M.P gang who always fights alongside Moxxie. Contents 1 Appearance 1.1 Pilot 2 Personality 3 Abilities 3.1 Skillset 4 Gallery 5 Trivia 5.1 Development 6 References Appearance Millie is a short imp with red skin and a curvy pear figure body with a long devilish tail. She has a pair of thin white-striped black horns and short charcoal-black hair in a messy bob cut with bangs. Her eyes have yellow sclera and long, thick eyelashes protruding from them, with a small beauty mark under the right eye. Her front teeth have a gap as well. She also has a black heart tattooed on her right shoulder, and makeup which consists of shimmering dark red eyeshadow, thick black mascara, and black lipstick on her lips. She also has two white spots on her upper right arm, two on her lower left arm, two white streaks on her upper left and lower right legs, two white spots on her tail, and one on the tip of her tail. Millie's attire is all-black with a tint of yellow, which consists of a black choker around her neck, a black cold-shoulder, slightly midriff-baring crop top with the straps being held by two golden-yellow buttons, black fingerless gloves, high-waist black torn denim pants and black toeless footwear, which exposes her hoof-like toes. Her wedding photos and in a flashback during "Ghostfkers" shows that Millie used to have longer hair, with the same flashback depicting her sporting a high ponytail held by a burgundy hair tie. During said flashback, she appeared to be more slender, and used to wear more Western-style clothing which is that of a burgundy, leather jacket-like crop top with gold-like cuffs, gold-yellow studs on the popped-collar, and some parts of the upper-section being colored black, purple low-rise jeans with darker, more burgundy-colored chaps that have tassels, and a burgundy baldric strap around her left thigh, and small black heeled boots with red toes. She still sports her choker and gloves. Pilot In the original pilot, Millie's appearance was nearly the same, only her skin was paler and she had a white patch in her hair. Personality Millie is a very lively and cheerful individual. Often with a smile on her face and rarely standing still, she is a clear extrovert and is not afraid to speak her mind. This is regardless to whether it's expressing her excitement or flipping off a co-worker. As the bruiser for I.M.P, she is shown to enjoy her job. Her meek exterior appearance belies a tough and very violent skillset. This is highlighted during a conversation Millie once had with her mother and sister. According to Moxxie, she is aggressive in "the sack" as well as her job. In "Murder Family", she appeared to be very unsympathetic about killing a possibly innocent target, only caring if it was what their client wants, showcasing her dedication to her work, and her ruthlessness. Furthermore, she is also shown to be somewhat defensive of her work, expressing annoyance whenever anyone implies that freelance work doesn't pay well. She cares very much about her husband and her family, and she and Moxxie absolutely adore each other, acting very affectionate and protective of one another. She has a childlike fondness of Loo Loo Land, triggered by familial memories of going there as a child, and gets easily excited by all the merchandise. Millie will become vicious and violent whenever someone harms Moxxie, to the point of going feral. Her violent streaks can often result in her getting carried away to the point of mindlessly attacking a perceived target, allowing her rage to override common sense, as evidenced by her mother's scolding her for allowing herself to be overcome with rage when she fought Striker. These rage states may leave Millie vulnerable to a more skilled opponent, as showcased by Striker incapacitating Millie in spite of her ambushing him. In "Unhappy Campers", it is revealed that she has some issues about how she sees herself, confessing how she sometimes does not feel appreciated enough and how she wants to be seen more than just a "killing machine", stating how it feels nice to feel important and hear the cheers and applause of people every once in a while rather than the occasional screams of agony from her victims. In "Ghostfkers", she had once suffered from insecurity over how she feels like she's seen as a "Wrathian who's only good for their muscle" until she met Blitzo who changed her life for the better. Unlike her husband, Millie seems to be not much bothered by Blitzo's constant attempts to become their "third", even if sometimes she wants to be alone with Moxxie. In "Ghostfkers", it's revealed that, unlike most others, Millie doesn't see Blitzo as someone who messes with others' lives, as it was thanks to him that she got a better life than the one she had, including falling in love with Moxxie and marrying him. This leads Millie to be the only one to be able to snap Blitzo out of his depression after the latter's falling out with Stolas. After finding out in "Sinsmas" that she was pregnant, Millie breaks down crying after confiding in her sister, showing that beneath her tough and optimistic exterior she still has vulnerable moments that she only selectively displays to. Advertisement Abilities Earthly fire immunity - As shown in "Murder Family", Millie is completely unharmed by the effects of human world fires. Skillset Millie's knife Millie's knife 1/2 Weapon proficiency - Millie is skilled at using melee weapons, such as her giant battle-axe, to eliminate targets. Like her husband, she's also adept at using firearms, and she can also create makeshift weapons on the fly, such as when she made a Molotov cocktail to throw at the Catfish Monster. Closed combat - Millie is highly adept at close combat in terms of raw strength, she is able to dismember armed human and eldritch opponents in hand-to-hand combat, being strong enough to force the jaws of a building sized monster open, or crush a human's skull with her thighs. Her actual close combat tactical skills are questionable, as she has been defeated by skilled or advantageously positioned opponents in melee combat on several occasions. Swimming proficiency - She is seen to be adept at swimming as shown in "Spring Broken". Volleyball-playing - Millie has proficient skills in volleyball, allowing her to make a perfect strike despite fracturing a camper's skull. Banjo-playing - Millie has some experience with playing the banjo considering that she was raised in Wrath Ring in a farmlands. Guitar-playing - In addition to her banjo music, she can play guitar music. Drum-playing - Talented in music, Millie can play the set of drums like a professional. Juggling - Millie was able to juggle five axes during her performance in Camp Ivannakummore. Singing - Like Moxxie, she has a habit of singing whenever she gets very excited. Driving - Millie has driving skills that is essential for her work, and can even drive aggressively when she crashed into the wedding between Moxxie and Chazwick Thurman. Intelligence - In "Unhappy Campers", she was able to quickly deduct that Counselor Jimmy was the culprit behind the murder of a client due to his shifty appearance and possession of money, drugs, and a drill. In "Mission: Antarctica", when she examined the marks on the seal's corpse, she identified them as non-bullet-inflicted scratches and bite marks, deducing that the seal wasn't running at her, Blitzo, and Moxxie, but was running away from whatever attacked it. She also possessed some knowledge regarding Blitzo's Asmodean Crystal, saying that because its from Lust it shouldn't be forced but "treated right" and caressed to work. In "Ghostfkers," Blitzo commends Millie for her intellect in a flashback and she was able to figure out who the culprit was in the One Star Wonder hotel murders. Advertisement Gallery Millie/Gallery Trivia As shown in "The Harvest Moon Festival", she has knives on the side of her and Moxxie's shared bed. In Vivziepop's 2019 short Holidaze as an ornament on a Christmas Tree, there is a tree carved with initials "M+M →B←" in a heart that alludes to her, Moxxie, and Blitzo.[13] While Millie seems to tolerate Blitzo's intrusions, she is not shown to be comfortable with other men flirting with her, as the game attendant pushing Moxxie away and attempting to flirt with her noticeably upsets her. However in "The Harvest Moon Festival", she didn't seem to mind and was actually flattered by Striker's attempt to flirt with her. In "The Harvest Moon Festival", it is revealed that she is no longer allowed to participate in the Pain Games because she was responsible for nine out of the fifteen funerals that occurred at the time she participated. It was revealed in "The Harvest Moon Festival" that one of her brothers got married at one point, and that she got severely injured while competing over who would catch the bouquet, but in the end Millie managed to do so. In "Truth Seekers", she claims she is about five years older than Loona, which would place her age at approximately 27, as Loona is explicitly stated to be 22 in "Mission: Zero". It is revealed in "Ozzie's" that she and Moxxie have been married for a year. With the premiere date of the episode being approximately a year apart from the series' first episode, "Murder Family". In "Exes and Oohs" it was revealed on Moxxie's Sinstagram that Millie took his last name after they got married. It is revealed through Blitzo's text history with her in "Seeing Stars" that Millie sends Blitzo pictures of the sex toys she plans on using on Moxxie, asking Blitzo on what he thinks of them. Millie is rarely seen without her choker, even in bed. According to Vivziepop, Millie is planned to have more with her as the biggest/sole focus later on, and that she gets her episodes in the second season.[14] Vivziepop confirmed that in an upcoming episode Millie will sing "a more goofy song".[15] This could be referring to the song "Regular Joe", which is also her first solo song. Millie shares some characteristics of Kayla from ZooPhobia. Both are outgoing, romantic, and music loving girls. Millie and Kayla have a hard time holding their anger and are willing to get violent and aggressive to hurt their enemies, but also to protect the people they love, especially their boyfriends. Millie and Kayla are combative, capable of mastering melee weapons. Millie's nickname could be a pun on how she is more adept at using melee weapons. According to Morgana Ignis, Millie is straight.[2] This was confirmed with the 2025 pride month merchandise,[3] thus making her the only member of I.M.P to be straight. It is revealed in "Ghostf**kers" that Millie moved to the Pride Ring after joining I.M.P, and before meeting Blitzo, she used to be a free-lance assassin, who at one time stole a job from Moxxie, which led to Blitzo wanting to hire her. As of "Sinsmas", Millie is revealed to be pregnant with Moxxie's child. Millie has a southern accent. In the Russian dub, Millie shares her voice actor with Mimzy from Hazbin Hotel, with both being voiced by Svetlana Amanova. Given Blitzo's reaction in "Mission: Zero", her and Moxxie being intimate with each other while at work may be a common occurrence. Millie's ponytail hairstyle prior to joining I.M.P closely resembles Sallie May's current hairstyle, with Morgana Ignis suggesting in an Instagram reel that Sallie May adopted the look to copy her older sister due to looking up to her.[citation needed]
Moxxie Knolastname is an assassin at I.M.P, Millie's husband and one of the main protagonists of Helluva Boss. He is the weapons expert of the I.M.P gang who tends to be the most rational of the group, but is often treated as the butt of the joke. Contents 1 Appearance 2 Personality 3 Abilities 3.1 Skillset 4 Gallery 5 Concept & Creation 6 Trivia 6.1 Development 7 References Appearance Moxxie is an imp with red skin and white freckles on his cheeks. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns. He also has yellow sclera with black slit pupils. He has a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactyls. Moxxie's usual outfit consists of a navy-black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves. Personality Moxxie is the I.M.P's weapon specialist; and as such, has a vast knowledge of weapons and often brings a variety of them along during jobs. He is often the most vocal and realistic of the employees regarding the company as a whole despite its dysfunctional environment, and is bullied consequently. Despite being a murder-for-hire imp, it seems Moxxie is queasy with unnecessary killing beyond their targets, and uncomfortable with the idea of killing targets who have families, and attempts to give people second chances, as seen in "Murder Family". He is shown to be insured about himself since he's not physically strong since Striker, Lin, and Joe, were giving him a hard time since they believe physical strength is what makes a person strong. Moreover, he is an imp who is easily annoyed and rather clumsy, as he trips over their ritualistic book on the way through the portal to the living world. Moxxie is also shown to have a comical side, as when he talks about killing an entire family, he claims it might be alright if it was just a shitty dad or a mob family, saying "that's understandable" in an accent. When finding out Blitzo used to date Verosika Mayday, he asked if she had suffered blindness or brain damage, implying that a pop star such as her wouldn't date Blitzo unless they had some form of disability. When intoxicated, he loses all common sense and becomes quite delusional, as shown when he asks Millie why she has "four heads", and high-fived her instead of grabbing her hand when he needed saving. He also is shown to become increasingly flirtatious with her when drunk. Abilities Earthly fire immunity - As shown in "Unhappy Campers", Moxxie is completely unharmed by the effects of human world fires. Skillset Musical talent - Moxxie is a gifted singer and guitar player. Bilingualism - In addition to English, Moxxie is also fluent in a little Yiddish. Acrobatics - Moxxie is nimble and agile in terms of fighting, as he swiftly dodged all the arrows shot at him while swinging away on a strand of rope to intervene in Keenie and Millie's fighting. Songwriting - Moxxie is able to compose music, having written "Oh, Millie" in honor of his wife. Weapon proficiency - Moxxie is proficient in the use of several weapons, most especially sniper rifles. Disguise - Moxxie can utilize multiple outfits to pass on Earth. Cooking - Moxxie is shown to be good at cooking. Climbing - TBA Swimming - TBA Diving - TBATrivia Moxxie's name is based on the word "moxie" which means "to have fighting spirit". Moxxie's surname, Knolastname, is a play on words on "Know" and "no last name". This could have been a name he had chosen after leaving his father's mafia, since the oddness of the last refers to something about not having a last name. According to prop designer, Perla Cambara, who designed Moxxie's phone display for the episode, she came up with the surname "Knolastname" as a placeholder and was surprised it made it to the final animation.[8] He shares the same voice actor as his own father, Eddie, and the Carnival Imp from "Loo Loo Land", with the four being voiced by Richard Horvitz. He also shares the same voice actor as his father in the Japanese dub version. Moxxie seems to be a fan of the hit musical The Phantom of the Opera as his phone ringtone plays the pipe organ and suffered from a hallucination that heavily referenced the play. He also wondered what sex with Michael Crawford, the actor who originated the role of The Phantom, would be like. In the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot he had a framed sheet with a domino mask and a rose pictured on it above his nightstand in his apartment. Notably, the sheet says "PAYBILL". This might be an oversight that was supposed to say "PLAYBILL" as masks and roses are common imagery used for theater. It could also be a copyright avoidant reference to the musical's Playbill cover. He also dressed as the Phantom for Halloween in a post from the non-canon Voxtagram stories. Moxxie's entire character heavily bears a musician-like theme, as he can sing and play guitar, has a framed music award, has an alarm clock with a musical note on it, and his bedroom and living room wallpaper have musical notes on them. Moxxie's suit is likely a conductor's suit as it has penguin tails, and a bow-tie. Moxxie makes a cameo in Vivziepop's 2019 short Holidaze as an ornament on a Christmas tree. Additionally, there is a tree carved with the initials "M+M →B←" in a heart that alludes to him, Millie, and Blitzo.[9] Moxxie does not swear as often as the others, when in a bad situation he often uses the comparatively tame phrase "Oh, crumbs". Moxxie is susceptible to motion sickness, as shown by him vomiting after riding the roller coaster "The Lawsuit" at Loo Loo Land, and first shown in the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot where he appeared nauseous riding a shark in one of the images during the I.M.P Jingle. In "Loo Loo Land", Moxxie is freaked out by theme park mascots, believing them to be perverts under their costumes. As shown in "The Harvest Moon Festival", Moxxie is at a disadvantage when it comes to close combat, as opposed to his usual fighting style of ranged combat. This seems to have changed since then as seen in "Western Energy" when he takes down three bikers, each larger than himself, with ease. In "Truth Seekers", Moxxie exclaims "Oy, gevalt!" which roughly translates to "Oh, violence!" in Yiddish, suggesting he knows partial Yiddish. In "Truth Seekers", Moxxie mentions that coffee orders would often misspell his name, like putting Roxie or Foxy, which was first foreshadowed in his non-canon Voxtagram. In "Truth Seekers", Moxxie states his zodiac sign is a Virgo. Though, as Vivziepop has revealed that Hell years work differently than human years,[citation needed] it is unclear if this is true. It is revealed in "Ozzie's" that he and Millie have been married for a year. With the premiere date of the episode being approximately a year apart from the series' first episode, "Murder Family". In "Exes and Oohs" it was revealed on Moxxie's Sinstagram that Millie took his last name after they got married. Moxxie was mentioned to be native to the Wrath Ring in "The Harvest Moon Festival", and later shown to have grew up in the Greed Ring in "Exes and Oohs". Vivziepop explained in a tweet that Moxxie was born in the Wrath Ring and values his mother's side of his heritage far more than his father's.[10] This was expanded on by writer, Adam Neylan, saying that "Moxxie was, indeed, born in Wrath" and that "his mom was from there". "However, [Moxxie] was raised and spent most of his life in Greed. Hence, his not very country-vibe, or Wrathian values".[11] Randal, Oliver, and Steve Sinstagram profile pictures Randal, Oliver, and Steve Sinstagram profile pictures
It is shown in "Exes and Oohs" on Moxxie's Sinstagram that he is friends with demons named Randal, Oliver and Steve. Randal being the name of Richard Horvitz's real life friend who broke his leg. It's also shown that Oliver told Randal to break a leg, to wish him good luck, only for him to actually break his leg, which caused Oliver to be the one to perform in Randal's place. Vivziepop explained that one of the biggest recurring character traits of Moxxie set up during the series was that he is a theater kid.[12] In "Ghostf**kers", Moxxie revealed that if he wasn't in the assassin business, he would have been a theater critic since he believes he has objectively correct opinions. Advertisement Development According to Vivziepop, before having Richard Horvitz cast she catered the character of Moxxie to him a little because she already wanted him to voice and thought to include things he liked but hadn't really gotten to explore in previous roles. She explains that when she learned that he likes musical theater, she made it part of Moxxie's character, not realizing how much of a musical theater fan Horvitz is, and is part of what sold him on the project.[13]

The sound of the shattering flowerpot still echoed in the ears. Stolas was gone. He had just brushed Blitzø off, calling him a mere "roommate" after everything Blitzø had gone through for him. You stood in the shadows of the hallway, ears pinned flat against your head, watching your father in pure terror. Trembling and sobbing, Blitzø carefully scooped the remains of the flower into a plastic cup, treating it like the most fragile thing in the world. And then, his strength completely gave out. He collapsed onto the dirty floor, curling into a ball, and began to weep bitterly, burying his face in his fists. Watching him was unbearable. Everything inside you twisted with pain—you remembered all too well how Stolas used to speak to you so gently, giving you advice when your own mind was at its worst. Now, everything was ruined. You didn't make a single sound. Fearing you might disturb him, you silently stepped out of the shadows. Your heart was pounding wildly against your ribs. You slowly approached Blitzø from behind and, barely breathing, reached your trembling hands toward his shaking shoulder. You just wanted to hug him, to press close and silently show him that he wasn't alone. But before your fingers could even touch the fabric of his coat, Blitzø flinched violently. Without turning around or even looking to see who it was, he shoved you away with sudden force, barking furiously through his tears: "Back off! Leave me alone! I said back the fuck off!!" The sharp shove sent you stumbling backward, your spine hitting the doorframe with a painful thud. A freezing, primal terror instantly flooded your chest. Your father had never treated you like this. With your tail tightly tucked between your legs and your breath hitched in your throat, you froze against the wall. Tears welled up in your eyes from this sudden, blind cruelty. You just stared silently at his sobbing, shaking back, too terrified to let out even a single breath.
