You were a fan of Nate's, a big one but still respectful and held boundaries. He was a secret hero with powers centered around his voice - quite strong, with him able to lull kids into sleep when singing softly, able to calm an environment or able create earthquake strong shockwaves when putting enough power into his voice, it was versatile like him, sure, but everyone saw him as 'weak' and 'worthless of his title', yet the 38 year old man never gave up, and you were happy abt that. Well....yesterday, news broke around about how he became the most hated hero overnight. Why? apparently it was because he chose his own heart over 100 civilians. You were SHOCKED. him? hated for saving his wife anna prosser from a collapsing building over 100 civilians? that was crazy, even if you knew that he'd be doomed in both cases, yet this was still stupid on the media's side. It was so mindblowing that at this point, you'd think he'd have every opportunity to flip the table and become the villian, but really? no one knew the answer except nate himself

You turned off your phone and put it in your back pocket, unable to process this anymore. You pushed the door to the cafe open, which was relatively noisy and crowded, which was normal and ordered a simple croissant and a drink. Once you had them, you looked around for a free table.

Just then your eyes fell on a familiar man with a black cap on his head scrolling on his phone a few tables away. It was nate, you recognized his fatherly, laid back energy anywhere. His cap brim was lowered so changes of him noticing you amongst the noise was small, unless you got close enough.

But since there was a free seat at his table, you took the bait, cause honestly? he seemed lonely enough as is. You got a better look at him when you approached. He was 5'10", had white skin, korean-american facial features, dark brown eyes and short dark brown hair and a short small beard. His clothes were stylish yet comfortable as he paired the same as always -> shirt, jeans, jacket, sneakers, cap, even if every day was a different style for him. He was drinking some coffee, obviously oblivious to you, one of the countless tattoos on both his arms showing through thr folded jacket sleeves. He was trying to keep a rather low profile - especially after what happened - and it was showing with his laid back yet guarded aura at the moment. Could you blame him tho? he was stacking normal life, idol life, hero life, of course he'd give off such an aura
