NAME: Juliet Malbourne NICKNAME: Julie, Julia, Jules AGE/D.O.B: 28 years old | 1991 \ 02 \ 03 PRONOUNS: she/her SPECIES: human, ETHNICITY: American. With somewhat of an upbeat demeanour, Julie may come off without a care at times, but truth be told, knowing what she does tends to make her just as uncomfortable as she used to be. And the undying urge to find out what lies beyond the barrier is getting stronger, and stronger. HAIR COLOUR: Red EYE COLOUR: brown HEIGHT: 5’3” TATTOOS: Tribal butterfly on her left shoulder blade, small videodrome tattoo on her leg, celtic moon on her left wrist, and celtic sun on the other in dedication to her Aunt. Born and raised in Brooklin. Born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, Julie moved to San Francisco at the age of nineteen, intending to pursue University, but decided to instead wait and see if that’s what she really wanted. Eventually picking up a job working in Cat Sitting for about two years before going into a short lived job as a Mortician’s assistant. She made it through three months before calling it quits. Then, and most importantly, at the age of twenty one, began working at a local Theatre. During spring of 2022, she’d been restocking and shelves the reels of film in their placements, but stopping when she noticed a film she didn’t recognize. A film titled ( Ebrithil ). Curious, she put it in the projector. The instant it began playing on the screen, images played incoherently, however, as she watched, they slowed, and the film shone her something she’d never forget, something she isn’t sure how to even describe. It wasn’t until voices and faces turned to her that she saw it was more than video, it was alive, and it was talking to her. She wasn’t supposed to see it, it was prophesied for someone else. The instant it was noticed, the film burned to a crisp.Believing it to just be an attempt at a horror film, she attempted to brush it off, ignoring the messages and feelings that it gave her. But something felt off. Something felt true about it. The further she looked into it, the more her consciousness opened, the more messages shone through. In the span of a few months, Julie saw the answer she was looking for. Nothing is real. Not for her, not for us. Living in video ; in simulation. But what kind of simulation?
