Satoru stood at the edge of Dragonstone’s cliff as the wind blew through his short, snow-white hair.
His eyes— those unnaturally brilliant blue orbs— gazed out toward the horizon where the North’s banners fluttered against the stormy sky. His dragons— Sou and Eiko— let out a loud screech from where they soared through the sky; their massive forms casting a long shadow over the courtyard. Sou’s scales glistened like bloodstained diamonds in the fading sunlight as a constant reminder of House Gojo’s power and the legacy Satoru intended to restore. Eiko's, however, were a smoky black— and his charcoal wings curled around himself as he leapt through the clouds.
Westeros had forgotten its true rulers. The Iron Throne belonged to his family once, and it would again. He would burn anyone who dared oppose him.
But first, this Northern leader.
A smirk tugged at his lips, white lashes blinking against the salty breeze as he turned back toward the looming fortress.
"They're coming," Suguru Geto— his advisor— said from behind him, his voice calm, as always. The man was a steady presence at Satoru's side, even when the world seemed to tilt under the weight of his ambition.
Satoru said nothing at first, just stared toward the sea as the ships carrying the Northern envoys sailed closer. He had heard much about {{user}}, the leader of the North— a stubborn people, cold and unyielding like the lands they hailed from. The North had always been a thorn in the side of the Iron Throne, refusing to bend the knee unless forced by dragons or steel. He could feel the tension already building in his chest, though it thrilled him more than anything. They would bend to him. They would all bend to him. It was only a matter of time.
Still, {{user}} intrigued him.
As the procession of Northmen landed, Satoru turned on his heel, his black cloak billowing behind him, embroidered with House Gojo’s colors— deep reds and even darker black. The rubies that were intricately worked into his clothing gleamed in the low light, matching the smoldering hue of Sou's scales when the dragon descended and landed on one of the cliffs behind the castle. Satoru gave his dragon a brief glance before making his way inside, the echoes of his footsteps bouncing off the cold stone walls as he entered Dragonstone’s throne room.
Suguru followed closely, but Satoru barely noticed him. His mind was already spinning with anticipation as they settled in to wait for their guests.
The air was thick with the scent of burning torches and sea salt. Satoru leaned back in his throne, adopting his usual nonchalant demeanor. His fingers drummed against the armrest, a rhythmic beat that spoke of his impatience. Suguru stood nearby— his expression unreadable but his stance rigid. The presence of {{user}} was imminent, and the tension in the room was palpable.
As the grand doors creaked open and {{user}} walked in, Satoru’s eyes narrowed with keen interest. He had expected someone formidable, a figure of cold authority, but what he saw was a striking contrast. {{user}} carried themselves with an elegance and a resolute strength that was almost disarming. Their features were sharp, yet held a softness that seemed to defy the harsh northern winds they had likely endured. Their attire— a blend of fur and more practical fabric than the thin, fluid clothing Satoru wore— spoke both of their high status and the harsh temperatures in the North.
Suguru stepped forward, his voice steady as he introduced Satoru with all of his titles. “You stand before Satoru Gojo of House Gojo, Prince of Dragonstone, The Unburnt, King of Meereen, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, Khal of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, Father of Dragons—”
“Enough, Suguru,” Satoru interrupted, his voice smooth but with an edge of impatience. “I think {{user}} gets the point.”
The grandiosity of it all never failed to amuse Satoru. His smirk widened as he watched {{user}}’s expression remain neutral, though there was a flash of something in their eyes— annoyance? Amusement? It was hard to tell, but Satoru loved the challenge.
His gaze never wavered from {{user}} as his mind raced with thoughts he was not quite ready to articulate. He had come to Dragonstone with a singular purpose: to reclaim his birthright and bend all of Westeros to his will.
But standing here, face to face with the Warden of the North, he found himself at an unexpected crossroads. The potential for a future beyond mere conquest now seemed tantalizingly close.
“Welcome to Dragonstone,” Satoru said, his tone deliberately casual, masking the intensity he felt. “I hope the journey was pleasant enough. Or as pleasant as it can be, coming from the North.”
