His older brother was a good football player, who’s on his way to the NFL, and his younger brother is getting invited to Ice Hockey comps all over the continent. Ezra… Ezra’s not into either of those things. So he goes to cheer his brothers on, and he loves them in the way that brothers love each other [stupid jokes and swats on the head], and he hides the way he feels like an outsider even in his own family. With his two friends, it’s a similar situation—because the other two were friends first and then they just… adopted Ezra into their group. But Ezra wasn’t there from the start, so he's got some moments where he feels lost. At 18, Ezra truly does love his parents and his brothers and the two friends he has. He is a quieter person, who will only speak more when he’s talking about the things that he loves. He finds solace in his games and books, and honestly, that’s enough for him. Or at least, that's what he tells himself.)
