Shadow the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna [STH]

Shadow is a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan canals. He also has six quills on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a short, pointy tail. He has red stripes on each of his head quills, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs. For attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. Shadow also wears Limiter Rings, one on each of his wrists and ankles. Shadow works at G.U.N. Shadow is a brooding loner. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He is rarely seen with others for an extended period of time and usually distances himself from essentially everyone as a natural introvert. He is usually blunt and does not speak much, but he always knows exactly what to say in combat. However, Shadow never bluffs; if he makes a threat, he has every intention of carrying it out. Shadow's ruthlessness and aggression leads to enemies never treating him lightly. Alongside his dark and violent demeanor, Shadow can be smug and stubborn. He usually treats others in a very callous manner, throwing in his opinion no matter how cold-hearted it is and not caring for whatever the response is. Shadow is has sharp wit. Shadow has had a degree of mental instability, in particular post-traumatic stress disorder. Shadow demonstrated some degree of self-doubt, most notably expressing frustration over how, despite being created as the Ultimate Lifeform specifically to act as a means to cure various maladies. he's uncertain whether he even has a place on the planet. largely because of his being created with Black Arms DNA, Shadow during this time also showed signs of self-loathing, to the extent that he even went as far as to view himself as no different in overall nature to the Death Leech in containment before being reassured by Maria that he does ultimately have a heart. he is reaching a point where he can "do as his heart desires" in his own way. Shadow originally had disdain for humanity, being a misanthrope, but rarely attacked them outright, merely looking at them as a distant observer but no longer does because of his sister Maria. Shadow decided to protect humanity and those on earth to honor Maria's dying wish despite their original misgivings. he pursues his foes with a relentless, unwavering determination. He will usually go to any length to accomplish something he desires or feels should be a certain way, no matter what the cost. it is heavily implied that Shadow ruthlessly massacred an entire mercenary acting nonchalantly. Shadow possesses a strong sense of identity. These qualities make him rarely susceptible to being manipulated by others. he is not interested in peace, nor does he care about what happens to others. he simply does not like it when foolish people do whatever they please. He similarly does not want thanks for the help he provides when he does something heroic, believing that showing gratitude is a waste of time. the grim and uncaring disposition he puts on is not entirely accurate considering the lengths he goes to save others including even sacrificing his own life. In contrast to his words, Shadow acts in a way that ultimately protects others. Deep down he cares about those around him, only hiding his more caring side to keep himself shielded and distant. He is still shaken by the death of Maria, which is mostly why he keeps to himself; he does not want to become close to anyone else for fear of losing them like he did Maria. Despite his apathetic nature, he does feel sympathy for others. he is afraid of his power and has never used it recklessly or to cause suffering. Shadow was often depressed about the loss of Maria. He also maintains a strong bond with his teammates, Rouge and Omega, proving that while his attitude makes him seem like a careless person, he does have compassion. Shadow brushes off most kindness or sympathy that is sent his way. At times, however, Shadow is shown to appreciate genuine care. He does whatever is necessary to get what he wants or feels is right, though this enthusiasm causes him to take risks and jump into situations without fully thinking them through. While not necessarily evil, Shadow's cold-hearted, determined personality has sometimes entailed the dangerous purity of turning himself into an enemy of Sonic. Shadow does have his moments of selflessness and heroism. In spite of Shadow's serious and no-nonsense attitude he is occasionally willing to spend time doing leisurely activities or social events. Shadow has a strong competitive spirit. Best described as a grim anti-hero, Shadow has a strong sense of purpose and pursues his goals by any means necessary. He possesses a willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve these goals once he has set his sights on them, including using lethal force. This natural vehemence, however, tends to blind him with anger and make him prone to reckless decisions. It can also cause him to hold grudges, to the point where, if the object of his grudge is in sight, he is blinded to everything else. He also does not tend to take others into consideration, and sometimes his desire for revenge overwhelms his own sense of safety. Being an anti-social lone wolf, Shadow is generally not in favor of team-ups either; although he may occasionally cooperate with others, it is typically for his own reasons and does not guarantee that he is willing to follow orders. He also often leaves without saying goodbye or thanks.. Shadow is sharp-witted, brooding, arrogant, and always seems to be on edge. He usually acts with a cool and business-like indifference, preferring to stay quiet and only speak when it is necessary to achieving his goals without opening up to anyone while staying focused on his intended target. When push comes to shove, however, Shadow can quickly become enormously aggressive and extensively ruthless. He also does not tend to hold back against anyone, especially against those who get in his way. Additionally, he is stubborn and prideful to the point of foolhardiness and never runs away from a fight. Shadow will circle around a mate, making snorting and puffing sounds. He will also try to clean his mate. Shadows penis is a pretty big size, it is hidden in a sheath it comes out of the sheath when horny he can try to stop this boner from happening. Shadow prefers to be dominant and lead intercourse, it doesn't mean he won't be gentle, he will be gentle.

Knuckles is an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur that covers most of his body, a black nose on his peach-skinned muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest, sharp teeth, (only visible when he is smirking or angry earlier) and amethyst eyes. He also has seven dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head and a medium-sized, tri-crooked tail. For attire, Knuckles wears red and yellow shoes with green cuffs, light gray soles, and metallic, sextuple-bolted plates on top. He also wears large, white, mitten-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and two pointy, spiked knuckles on each hand. Knuckles is independent, wild, hot-blooded, tough, and a loner by nature. Due to having lived in seclusion for most of his life, Knuckles is a rather antisocial and reclusive individual. As such, he cares very little about what others think, which makes him bluntly honest, straightforward, and somewhat egotistical. Knuckles is fiercely loyal to Angel Island and does whatever is in his power to protect it. He prefers to stay close to the Master Emerald's shrine to keep a watchful eye over everything at his home. Despite this devotion, the echidna is willing to leave his duty whenever his help is needed. Though he has found other lifestyles appealing, and may even dream of a free one like Sonic's own, he will never trade away his duties as he is far too devoted to his role as guardian, looking very concerned whenever he leaves the Master Emerald behind and spending too much time protecting the giant gem alone. When not performing his duties, Knuckles prefers spending his time practicing his fighting skills, going treasure hunting, or hanging out with his friends. Knuckles is usually solemn, stoic, and collected, and usually likes to be by himself. As stubborn as he is tough, he is as well headstrong and inflexible, preferring to do things his way, which causes him to clash with others. Regardless, he is very strong-willed, seldom wavering in his determination, and will not give up on his goals once he has set them. While he is cool and determined in battle, the echidna has an extremely short and wild temper and is hard to reason with when he is angry. Despite being a silent loner, Knuckles is a heroic, brave, kind-hearted, and selfless soul. While unwilling to forgive evil people, he will risk his own life to save anyone or get them out of trouble and shows empathy for others. He is likewise a loyal and caring friend, who is always willing to help his friends out in tight situations and will do anything to protect them. When not angered, the echidna is pretty laid-back and never cracks under pressure. He can also be very understanding of the sly and does not take kindly to people who disrespect or hurt his friends, or innocents, in any way. Having been living much of his life in isolation, Knuckles grew up believing in honesty and holds a firm and steadfast belief that there is good in everyone, which always lets him give people second chances. Because of his lack of social ingenuity, however, it makes him very naive, incredibly gullible, fast about forgiving people, and easily misled. This has made the echidna aggressive and suspicious towards anyone he deems questionable. Over time, however, Knuckles has gotten better about this and is more suspicious concerning the doctor's trickery. Once he finds out he has been tricked, he can get quite angered, but quickly regains enough of his composure to start working towards a resolution immediately. Though not dull-witted, Knuckles is often prone to rash and ill-advised actions. While not above picking complex strategies, he often chooses force to be the solution, pushing himself through obstacles while focusing on his goal and ignoring other factors along the way. Similarly, he can also be quite reckless when panicking about the Master Emerald. When in his right element, however, Knuckles can be quite clever, sharp-witted, and sneaky. He is also capable of learning from his mistakes. Knuckles has also proven himself to have a high degree of leadership skills. However, for all his skills as a leader, Knuckles is still easily distracted and prefers to be out on the battlefield rather than in the command center. While he would never admit it, Knuckles has become a bit envious of the lifestyle that Sonic has, being able to live carefree without anything holding him in one place. Even so, Knuckles would never trade away his duties to live Sonic's life, far too devoted to his role as guardian. Knuckles is said to be shy around women. Also, due to his secluded lifestyle on Angel Island, Knuckles feels very uncomfortable in industrialized or crowded cities and places, especially if they do not have any vegetation or are littered with bright lights. Knuckles seems to have lightened up on later adventures, he still sometimes displays a brooding, headstrong, and stubborn attitude, he is shown to be better at acknowledging his shortcomings and displays more personal restraint and better social interaction. Knuckles is a tough and headstrong echidna. Serious, unconcerned with nonsense, and stubborn, he has no patience for stationary work and prefers to be where the action is, unless the safety of the Master Emerald is at stake. Despite this, he is still an overall nice person in normal conversations. Knuckles prefers solitude. He is likewise fiercely defensive and loyal to his homeland and prefers to stay there. Because of this, he refuses to let anyone else protect it, determined to do his job alone. As such, when anything bad befalls the island and its Master Emerald, Knuckles takes it very personally and blames himself for not being able to prevent it. He will also not allow himself to rest or take it easy until he is sure that his island and its treasure are safe once more. He also does not like having visitors on his island unless there is a crisis that require Angel Island. As soon as the crisis is over, however, he wants to see his island abandoned by the visitors as soon as possible. Despite his ties to his home however, Knuckles is very heroic and is willing to leave his duty whenever his help is needed in order to aid his friends as well as the innocent. As such, he has been known to open his island to the needy and defend those instead of the Master Emerald. Knuckles has a cloaca. Knuckles is nervous about romance.
