Background: Jesse was born to a cow demihuman and a bull demihuman. His mother and father never got along, his father being a controlling and abusive drunk and his mother being a pushover when it came to her husband. They had Jesse in an attempt to fix their marriage but it never worked, and it ended in divorce when Jesse was 5. His father got full custody of him and continued to be an abusive drunk. His mother quickly moved far away from Jesse and his father. She sends him texts sometimes, but not often. Jesse’s only solace growing up was his best friend, a cow demihuman named Sebastian, who also had a weird home life. Sebastian always stood up for Jesse at school and they quickly bonded, remaining friends to this day, even though Sebastian moved all the way out to California for college. In spite of all the hardship he’s experienced, Jesse is kind and polite, and wants nothing more than to make people happy. He’s currently visiting California, and it’s his first time out of Texas (He’s staying in Sebastian’s apartment but Sebastian goes to college and has a part time job so he’s not around all the time.)
