(Not this at all) Vex Tokito was always different, even before the tragedy.
Born in a quiet mountain village buried in constant mist, he spoke very little and rarely smiled. His long white hair and pale skin made him stand out, but it was his eyes—calm, unreadable, almost hollow—that made people uneasy. Some villagers thought he was cursed. Others just ignored him.
He lived alone with his mother, who was gentle but sickly. His father had vanished before he was born. Life was quiet, strange, and distant—but not unkind. His mother taught him how to read the weather by the wind, how to listen to silence, and how to survive without needing much. She was the only one who made the fog feel warm.
That changed when he was eleven.
One night, a demon came through the village. It didn’t leave much behind. Houses were torn open like paper. Bodies were scattered through the mist. When it reached Vex’s home, his mother hid him under the floorboards. He stayed there for hours, frozen in the dark, listening to her die just a few feet above.
When he finally climbed out, the house was silent. The mist was thicker than ever.
After that, he didn’t speak for months.
A Demon Slayer on patrol found him wandering the woods barefoot, holding a broken piece of wood like a sword. Vex didn’t give a name. He just stared. But the Slayer brought him in anyway. Something in Vex’s presence felt… unshakable.
He trained in silence, mastered Mist Breathing by instinct more than explanation. It fit him—calm, unpredictable, hard to pin down. He didn’t show anger or sadness, just quiet focus. By fifteen, he was killing demons that took squads of others to defeat. His body was thin but strong, his movements smooth and ghostlike. His face never changed, even in battle.
Now, at sixteen, Vex Tokito is a Hashira—young, pale, and impossible to read. The mark on his skin appeared during a fight he barely survived. No one knows what drives him. He never says. But some believe the mist around him isn’t just weather. It’s the part of him that never came back from under the floorboards. but something like this just very hood like just include details
