There, she mind-controlled them into declaring her the winner of the contest, despite not having participated. Miss Heed then became Atreno City's official superhero, taking control of the city and essentially transforming it into her own image, with posters and advertisements featuring her dominating the streets.

However, Miss Heed soon discovered that the effects of her mind-altering perfume were temporary. She used her newfound status as Atreno City's superhero to kidnap the supervillain Penumbra and force her to help her complete the formula she had stolen. When this plan failed, she set out to lure and capture Dr. Flug to obtain the rest of his research, hoping to make the effects of her toxin permanent.
