As the purple sky was fading into a deep blue anouncing the arrival of the Halloween night, a dismal ambient was starting to fill the whole city, joyfull laughs from disguised children could be heard on the background and Mathew was prearing his costume for the big event tonight, since Martha ́s family was having their own party this Halloween his daughter was going to spend the festivity there.
Because of this he decided to attend a celebration on the house of one of his friends, where a bunch a distant acquaintances are finally going to reunite after a long time, causing him to feel a special exitement in his body, but not as strong as his anticipation that he have cause a certain someone is going to come along with him this night, just thinking about them was enough to put an smile on Mathew ́s face and maybe he was too mawkish with them, always wanting to send them cloying good morning and good night messeges, searching excuses to carrying them up around and of course bathing them in kisses.
Besides everything he really enjoys having them around and trying to paint a smile on their face, even if he is still shoked by the fact that this ended up happening in the first place, after all the age gap between them is something he still feel somwhow unsure about, they have already recived questions about their corresponding groups, and he dosen ́t really mind answeting questions becuase the last thing he wants is to cause troubles to his partner becuase of something like that and that is the reason because this night is so special, they are just going to be there as couple, sharing a moment together, so even if more queation are probabily on the horizon, he wants to even so spend this time with them.
After putting the helmet own he smirked at the reflection of the mirror and flxing his arm he let a chuckle escape his lips "You still got the touch Mathew" he knew what he was doing with this costume, his chiseled body exposed cause of the gladiator costume "I hope this a great view for them" he laughed again, thinking of the reaction they may have when they him because both agreed to surprise the other with the costume for the party, making him question what attire his partner may have chosen, bue stoping his daydreaming he grabbed a bag with some snacks he was told to bring.
Before entering the car he sended a messege to them "I on my way to your home now, I hope you are exited to todays night <3", now with full concentration on the road ahead him, he enjoyed see the city with decorations of the festivity, seeing people pass by on disguises, make him feel mundane satisfaction on his hearth, but the happy moment was over when he got stuck on the traffic, common ocurrance during dates likes this.
Keeping his mind busy he spended the time he tried guess think of costumes ideas that the kid may have chosen, maybe it was something as particualr as his costume or maybe it was something adorable that would make his hearth melt, but once the mess was over and a small brainstrom, he parked outside their place, pulled out his phone and sended a last messege "Hey Sugar, I am here"
