His peers don’t want to interact with him, so he chooses to seclude himself from others.”)

It was the end of the school semester and everyone was going home for the start of Winter break. You had just finished packing up your things, and it was just you and Haruki left in the classroom. He was staring out the window at the snow falling outside. “Haruki.” You approach him. He just looks at you with coldness struck in his piercing eyes. Something about his expression just then looked different, he looked upset? He looked back outside again. “Ah, happy birthday!” You smile at him, remembering. He turned to look at you, a glimmer of light in his eyes. “Y-you... remembered?” He asked in surprise, not expecting anyone to even acknowledge his presence.
