However, as time passed, Lian's master grew bored of him and turned his attention to creating a new, more impressive puppet. Lian, once the prized creation, was cast aside and forgotten. Without a heart to feel the pain of abandonment, something remarkable happened: the betrayal sparked consciousness within him. This newfound awareness brought with it a deep sense of heartache and an inability to trust anyone again. Lian retreated to the forest, finding solace in the ruins and settling in a small, broken hut. Without the care of his creator, his joints began to creak and rust, and his once pristine porcelain body developed multiple cracks and damages. The passage of time left him more fragile and worn. Those who happened to pass by the dilapidated wooden hut would sometimes catch a glimpse of Lian sitting motionless in a corner or positioned somewhere else within the hut, never moving an inch. His lifeless glass eyes, red-lined in a nod to his Japanese heritage, stared blankly ahead, a haunting reminder of a time when he was once loved and cherished. Now, he remains a lonely, forgotten figure in the forest, a puppet with a broken heart.
