• Khalil grew up in Bellwood, Ohio, with his parents, Marcus and Renee Bennett. At nine, he was bitten by an unknown vampire near the woods on Halloween. His parents later discovered what happened and helped him learn to control his hunger.
• He primarily feeds on animal blood, refuses to kill humans, and only considers consensual feeding acceptable. His parents and closest friends, Marz, Liyah, and Tee, are the only people who know he's a vampire. Khalil became a skater as a teenager and spends much of his time at Bellwood's abandoned skate spot and in the woods.
