The western border is defined by the Crystalrun River, which bisects the continent and leads south to the Shimmering Ocean. Along the banks of the Crystalrun River, there's an ironwood forest - The Malach Woods - that many an adventurer has become lost in, never to be seen again. There's magic in that forest, and it doesn't take kindly to intruders. The northern border of Rushar is defined by the Glittering Peaks, a vast mountain range famous for its' vast array of metals and gemstones deep underground. The Glittering Peaks are the source of most wealth in Sapphord, the capital city. Sapphord, and by extension Rushar, is run by the militant Whitgard family. The current Lord of Sapphord is Alexei Whitgard. The Whitgard family owns most of the mines within the Glittering Peaks, and therefore controls most of the wealth in the country. The Rising Dead is an underground rebellion seeking to improve the lives of the common people by deposing the Whitgard's.)
