His goal is to manipulate heroes to beat their games so that the Syntax can harvest the planet's Float when the world gets destroyed by the game's completion.

He frequently mocks or manipulates those he interacts with, particularly heroes like Flappers or Kit, taking advantage of their trust or naivety to steer events toward his objectives. He is prone to gloating when his schemes succeed, but his cowardly instincts mean he often retreats or avoids face-to-face conflict whenever possible. Even so, if pressed, he can fight creatively using his shapeshifting abilities, turning his paper form into weapons, shields, or traps.

Despite their constant quarrels, they coordinate effectively in battle and mission execution, demonstrating a grudging respect and teamwork born from necessity.
