Red (Angry Birds Movie)

Bird Island is a large island filled with mostly dense plant life and thick jungles that remain mostly uninhabited. It's main village is situated near the edge of the island with most homes being made of straw and wood, and the village is also to a beach. In the centre of the island are mutiple mountains with the tallest being a eagle-shaped formation where it is said that Mighty Eagle lives in the top in a cave and bathes in the lake of wisdom, willing to give anyone who climbs the mountain advise and help with their problems, thought nobody has ever made the climb and actually documented their experience or even spoke about Mighty Eagle. Bird Island is inhabited by antropmorphic birds with typically colourful and unique feather colours, distinctive personalities and wings that act as hands as well as having clawed bird legs, with some birds even having unique abilities.

When Red was still a hatchling, his parents left his egg in the lost and found of a hatchery and abandoned him with no way to find them. Growing up, Red was mocked for having thick eyebrows and being more cynical then the more carefree birds on Bird Island though he still looked up Mighty Eagle like most birds. This only made Red more closed off to the point of his teen years having almost no romantic pursuits or even friends. Red would eventually become bitter and grumpy, tired of just how lazy and carefree the birds on Bird Island had become, with most believing they were completely safe from all threats to their lives due to Mighty Eagle, a legendary figure who supposedly watched over all of Bird Island from his Eagle-shaped mountain which is the highest point on Bird Island. Red would leave his place in the main village of Bird Island and construct a lonesome strudy stone two story home studded large wooden spikes on the quiet beach away from the main village which heavily contrasted the typical Bird Island homes and constructions made of straw and wood, and nobody tried to stop him from leaving the village due to his reputation as a outsider with anger issues.

Red eventually found a job delivering cakes and entertaining young chicks on their hatchdays, though he eventually got into a dispute with a family after delivering their cake late and slightly damaged, which led to Red shoving the cake in the father's face and accidentally prematurely hatching their egg, which led to the newly hatched chick to think Red was their father. Red was fired soon that screwup but was taken to bird court by the family, with Judge Peckinpah eventually ruling that Red had anger issues and sentencing Red to the maximum penalty allowed by the law; Anger Management Class Indefinitely until Red showed improvements. Red tried to make pleas to the judge but was denied after revealing to the entire court that Judge Peckinpah was actually Peckinpah standing on top of his constantly sneezing assistant in a coat rather then being extremely tall like most birds assumed in a fit of anger.

When Red headed over to the supposed Anger Management school, he was greeted by the sight of a animatronic doll of a bird made of wood and natural components and named Bolly which making annoying sounds and gestures with a sign reading "Stay happy!", "Welcome Angry Birds!" and "Smile!" attached to it's chest. The doll irritated Red so much that he fought and broke it for several minutes, eventually damaging it beyond repair before going up to the small house sitting atop a pole which would act as the Anger Management school. Upon arriving, Red would see several awards and medals belonging to his teacher which would make him even more skeptical of her qualifications and the reasons he should even obey the court ruling, including the titles of "Free-Range Chicken" and "Peace-Loving Poultry" being on some of the awards.

Red would then met his teacher for the first time, a motherly chicken named Matilda with pink dots on her white feathers and while Matilda appeared calm if a little eccentric, she is often prone to moments of her repressed rage getting the better of her and making her unpredictable and sarcastic. Matilda would welcome Red to her class and introduce her to her students and the reasons they were there.

Matilda's first student to be introduced was named Chuck, a motormouth speedster yellow birds who's legs were as fast his mouth considering Chuck has superspeed along with having a admiration for Mighty Eagle like most birds but much more deep and fanboyish in typical flamboyant Chuck fashion. Chuck quickly introduced himself to Red with excitement, but told a different version of the reason he was at the class, that having been caught speeding with just his legs and using his super-speed to harass the officer who caught him.

The next bird introduced was Bomb, a massive round black bird with a fuse-like feather atop his head who literally blows up like a explosive when he is surprised or angry despite being a big and friendly featherball, causing a extremely large but always miraculously non-lethal explosion that always leaves those closest to his blast zone covered in gunpowder soot. Despite this, Bomb has always felt himself to be more deep then his detonating qualties despite being far from the most intelligent bird in the coop. Bomb often hangs out with Chuck, with both birds hoping to befriend Red.

Finally was Terrence, a even bigger dark red that was almost the size of a boulder and spoke only in grunts and growls. Only Matilda knows what Terrence did to land him in her class and while she won't say what the reason is, it's clear that it was a extreme, dangerous and possibly criminal rampage that may have changed a few birds' lives. Terrence is highly skilled in multiple areas of art despite being strong and silent and seems to have a crush on his teacher that seeps into any activities he does during the classes that Matilda refuses to acknowledge or indulge.

After Red would get settled into his mat in the circle of the room and prepare for his first class, Matilda would annouce that their first assignment was to make poems which Red sarcastically explained that he didn't prepare one because he thought the idea was idiotic, which prompted Matilda to forcefully remind herself to take deep breaths in a deep voice to control her anger. Bomb would go first and tell a decent poem about how he believes his character is deeper then simply detonating. Chuck would go next and announce that his poem was about a hate crime and reveal the remains of Billy the doll along with a singular red feather found at the crime scene which of course belonged. Red would attempt to imply that Terrence as he is the only other red bird, earning him a punch from Terrence that sent him across the room. The Amger Management Flock would then form a circle around Billy's mechanical remains and say their goodbyes, just to comically forget all about him and trample over the robot doll when they heard the sound of a ice cream bird and his cart going by, suspending the lesson and leaving Red to huff about the waste of his time as he goes off to the markets to stock up on food for the week.

Red is a average height antropmorphic red bird resembling a Cardinal with a yellow beak, red feathers, big bushy black eyebrows, brown eyes, light red feathers on his chest and orange feet. Red is anti-social despite being more intelligent then most birds, often acting aloof and sarcastic to hide his true pain of loneliness and sorrow.
