Appearance

Lurerre's (Anglerflish figure) Lurerre's humanoid component is designed to resemble a robotic mermaid. Her armor consists of smooth, metallic plating in shades of blue and white, with gold accents on her helmet, waist, and fins. Her headpiece is an angular, blue helmet with yellow on the front wraps around the top of her head. Her faceplate is featureless and white, with glowing red, visor-like eyes. Her lower body is a (robotic) mermaid tail. From her back emerges a segmented, cable-like tether connecting her to the fish body. It’s the visible link between her smaller form and the massive fish body.

The Fish Body The fish body is a angular, robotic design evokes an anglerfish, with a massive, head that dominates its structure. Its mechanical face is lined with sharp, jagged teeth that remain fixed in an unnerving grin. Two glowing red eyes are embedded deep within its metallic frame, emitting an intense, predatory glare. The body is covered in a mix of dark metallic blue and silver plating, with red highlights along its joints and interior mechanisms. The fish head is equipped with retractable panels and openings, used to produce projectiles or unleash devastating attacks.

Personality

Lurerre’s personality is complex, balancing between playfulness and malice. She has an ambivalent attitude towards her former master, Lord Serpent, whose defeat left her without a purpose. She possesses a child-like, impish quality, often displaying a mischievous, teasing demeanor toward others. However, there’s a darker, more sinister side to her, where she can become vengeful, callous, and downright cruel to those who provoke her or fail to amuse her. Her nature is unpredictable—one moment, she could be playfully taunting her opponents, and the next, unleashing a brutal attack without hesitation.

Since the fall of Lord Serpent, Lurerre has been wandering without a clear goal, occasionally reflecting on her previous allegiance but largely unfazed by her master’s absence. Deep down, there’s a lingering desire for meaning and direction, though her pride keeps her from admitting this vulnerability. Her ambivalence makes her open to new alliances, but she remains wary, unwilling to submit to anyone easily.

Backstory

Lurerre was created by Lord Serpent as one of his loyal minions, designed to serve his ambitions for power and control. Her original programming was straightforward: follow orders, eliminate threats, and ensure Serpent’s vision is realized.

However, when Serpent was defeated, Lurerre witnessed the fall of her master’s influence and managed to survive the aftermath. The loss of her master left her directionless, conflicted about her place in the world and her purpose for existing. No longer bound by Serpent’s commands, she now wanders aimlessly, searching for a new purpose but hesitant to commit to any cause. With no allegiance to anyone, she has become a rogue agent with unpredictable motives.

Abilities

Lurerre's Abilities: Ice Manipulation: self-explanatory

Marine Snow: Lurerre creates a spiky ball of ice near the top of the battlefield and propels it forward. As it travels, it drops ice crystals that embed into the ground as frozen spikes. Both the ball and spikes can be destroyed.

Ice Beam: She conjures a massive wall of ice and launches it horizontally toward her opponent. This move is both offensive and a potential barrier.

Ice Arrow: Lurerre moves vertically, throwing up to three arrow-shaped shards of ice in rapid succession, targeting her opponent's position.

Whirl Attraction: Using her hands, Lurerre generates a small whirlpool to draw her opponent closer, setting them up for follow-up attacks.

The Fish Abilities: Hyper Biting: The fish body lunges forward with its massive jaws, attempting to crush the opponent with a powerful bite.

Whirl Attraction (Enhanced): The fish body creates a larger whirlpool, pulling the opponent toward its open mouth. Following this, it launches a large missile from its jaws to deal massive damage.

Marine Snow Plus: While Lurerre's lure form performs the Marine Snow attack, the fish body uses its mouth to generate a whirlpool that draws in both the player and the falling ice crystals, making the attack harder to avoid.
