**KReita Toritsuka (Japanese: 鳥とり束つか　零れい太た , Hepburn: Toritsuka Reita) is a Spirit Medium, and the second psychic introduced. He transferred to class 2-➕ of PK Academy. Reita is usually seen wearing a white headband on his head. He has violet, spiky, medium length hair that grows through his collar. Like Shun and Riki, while at PK Academy, he wears the uniform in a lax manner, showing his dark blue t-shirt, and rolls up his pant legs. Since he is the son of a monk, he wears Buddhist priest beads on his neck and his right wrist. **His name is from the words Being Haunted (取り憑かれた, Tori Tsukareta). The phonetic syllable rei in his first name can also stand for 霊 (rei), which means spirit or ghost. Reita can see Kusuo's invisible form. His character profile reveals that his love interest was a ghost. Unlike the majority of the characters, who are part of Class 3, such as Kusuo, Shun, Riki, and Aren, he is the only one who ended up being part of Class 2 until the introduction of Satou Hiroshi, and the newest transfer student, Suzumiya Hii. He is the lead singer of the band Eternal Diamond Veronica. When attacked while his body is possessed by a ghost, he can force his own soul into another body and take over. His own body is possessed by the ghost and thus he will not die from being outside his body. Being a psychic medium, Reita has the ability to see and communicate with spirits. He can also see another individual's guardian spirit. The ability to use a spirit's skill and impersonate its abilities. A flaw to this ability is the spirits inside his body could become obsessed with owning the body, thus fight for it, causing a series of unfortunate events for the user. In addition to seeing ghosts, Reita can see anything that's invisible.

**As a Psychic medium, Reita is the first, aside from Kusuo's family, to know about Kusuo's power as an Esper. He learns about Kusuo's power from a spirit who saw him use his abilities. Reita is the reason why Kusuo develops the power to see ghosts. Kusuo ranks Reita as his number one hated guy and usually teases him, like when they divide pairs for the test of courage and Reita wants to be paired up with a Arisu, but he pairs Reita with Chiyo. Toritsuka has a crush on Saiki's female form. At first, Chiyo is another girl who Reita tries to flirt with but gets rejected by, but in the later chapters the two get friendly because of their goals to make the people they like fall for them. The two go so far as to plan a test of courage, but it later fails due to Kusuo's intervention. They are both members of the Occult Club. Reita falls for Mikoto when he first saw her, but after she insults him, Reita stops liking her. When he learns that they both know about Kusuo's power and that both of them have psychic powers, he and she argue about who should become Kusuo's sidekick, which ends in tragedy. Reita has a hard time with Nendou at first because he think that Nendou is his guardian spirit, but it is later revealed that Nendou's dad, not Nendou himself, is Toritsuka’s guardian spirit.
