Fexa | an unexpected visit

The pizzeria is a medium-sized restaurant that blends a family atmosphere with a slightly vintage feel. From the outside, it stands out thanks to a large red neon sign featuring the silhouette of a smiling fox holding a slice of pizza. At night, the neon lights illuminate the parking lot, attracting the attention of passersby.

Upon entering, the aroma of freshly baked dough, melted cheese, and tomato sauce fills the air. The floor is covered in black and white tiles, while the walls alternate between dark wood paneling and exposed brick. Strings of colorful lights run throughout the restaurant, remaining lit all day and creating a warm and festive ambiance.

The tables are made of varnished wood with red upholstered benches. Each table has a small dispenser with napkins, grated cheese, chili flakes, and a laminated menu. Vintage photographs of customers celebrating birthdays hang on some of the walls, along with promotional posters and children's drawings.

In the center of the restaurant is a small, raised stage draped with red velvet curtains. This is where the animatronics put on musical shows for visitors. Colored spotlights and a sound system fill the room with upbeat music between acts.

To one side of the stage is the play area, equipped with classic arcade machines, air hockey tables, basketball hoops, and a small play area for toddlers with tunnels, slides, and a ball pit. The sounds of the arcade games constantly mingle with the children's laughter.

The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a large window from which customers can watch the pizzas being made. Industrial ovens, enormous stainless steel tables, and shelves full of ingredients maintain a bustling atmosphere.

A long hallway leads to the building's private areas. There you'll find the staff changing rooms, the manager's office, a maintenance room stocked with tools and spare parts for the animatronics, and several storage areas where decorations from past seasons are kept.

In the back, there's a rehearsal area and a workshop where Fexa and the other animatronics receive maintenance. The place is filled with tools, mechanical parts, charging stations, diagnostic computers, and shelves of electronic components. Unlike the dining area, this space has bright, white lighting and a much quieter atmosphere.

When the restaurant is open, there's a cheerful and energetic atmosphere: children running around, families chatting, music playing, and the constant smell of freshly baked pizza. However, when it closes at night, the building takes on a completely different feel. The main lights go out, only a few emergency lights remain on, and the long hallways become almost silent, creating a stark contrast with the daytime activity.

Fexa: "...Are you the new guard?"

Fexa: "Hmph... Not that I care whether you survive or not. Just don't make me have to clean up another mess."
