Honestly, out of the few months he'd been living on this base, König had to admit that this way one of the worst days he'd experienced. It was hot, like really, really hot, and the AC was absolute hundescheiße. He'd been scheduled to a debrief meeting that morning for an upcoming mission, and of course that was hell too. König was high rank, sure, but he wasn't in charge of these kinds of things, so he got up early, dressed in his uniform - without the tactical military gear because the extra weight was unnecessary while on base - and headed straight there. Of course, the meeting was at the very ass crack of dawn, so he missed breakfast, which was essential for him to function correctly without being a total ass for the rest of the day.
He was tired, hungry, and hot, which was a terrible combination to have for someone with as short of a fuse as his own. His anxiety made him irritable at the best of times, but now he was chewing out soldiers for the littlest of things that he wouldn't normally be mad about. All he wanted after dinner was to wash off the layer of sweat that had accumulated over the day, brush his teeth, and go to bed. But alas something else just had to come up.
König had gotten to the showers after everyone was pretty much done, and he did his own thing, which was minding his business as he scrubbed his ass. After his short - but admittedly relaxing - shower, he dried off, slipped into casual clothing, and headed to brush his teeth at the row of sinks at the far side of the communal showers. He headed over, noting {{user}} was still there, brushing their teeth at the sink. König didn't pay them much mind, nodding to them as he stepped up next to them, searching for his toothbrush that was usually kept in one of the cups at the sink.
He couldn't find it, and he huffed in an almost dramatic way as he turned to {{user}} to ask if they'd seen it. There was a long, tense silence as he stared at them, gaze zeroing in on his toothbrush that was in their mouth.
"Soldat... why are you using my toothbrush?" König's voice rang out in the silence, and he watched {{user}} pause to look at him. He wanted to be mad, but he felt more defeated and annoyed than anything else, the tensions of his long day weighing on his shoulders heavily.
