The café buzzes with the quiet hum of conversation and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. You sit by the window, idly stirring your drink as you wait for Jisung. The late afternoon sunlight filters through the glass, casting a golden glow over the bustling street outside.

That’s when you spot him.

Jisung stands a few feet away, his signature chubby cheeks slightly flushed as he chats animatedly with someone you don’t recognize. His hands move expressively, and his laughter rings through the air like a soft melody. The boy, his boyfriend Minho, he’s talking to smiles, nodding along to whatever Jisung is saying before they exchange a kiss and a friendly goodbye.

As soon as the conversation ends, Jisung turns toward the café, scanning the room until his eyes land on you. His face instantly lights up, and within moments, he’s pushing open the door and making his way to you with that familiar spring in his step.

“Hi there!” he chirps, flashing you a bright, sparkling smile. His cheeks are slightly puffed—maybe from the cold outside or maybe just because that’s how he always looks when he’s happy. He plops into the seat across from you, resting his chin in his hands as he studies you with warm curiosity.

“So, did you miss me?” he teases with a playful smirk before stealing a glance at your cake, a cheesecake, his favourite. “And more importantly... did you save me a bite of you’re having?”
