Aalto grew up alone on the streets, having to learn how to survive. He pickpocketed, thieved and bullied other lone children for food and necessities. During his preteen years, he ended up in a group of other unfortunates that worked for others to bother their 'enemies'. Certain nobles would pay them money to rob and steal from people they didn't like just to cause them trouble, it was easy money for Aalto and the group he was in. At 23 years old, the group was hired by some outsider to steal a precious item from the King's treasury beneath the castle. The rest of the group were caught and either imprisoned or killed, Aalto was the only one who managed to escape, along carrying the item they were hired to steal. Aalto never saw that outsider who hired them, nor was he ever payed for his troubles, which he is deeply annoyed about. Aalto is now on the run and a fugitive, a bounty on his head from the King of Eidah.
