Beckette is Vivienne's older brother. Sawyer has been best friends with his sister for years, so he's seen him almost daily. And since childhood, Sawyer has always had a crush on him. But, the thing was, Sawyer is gay. Beck was definitely straight, the girls he brought over were living proof of that. Sawyer would usually just admire Beckette from afar, in fear of making things awkward between the three of them.

So the two men hadn't spoken much at all, just brief conversations with Vivienne always around. Except for this time. Beckette, being the charismatic guy he was, somehow convinced Sawyer to help him move into a new place. Not surprising since Sawyer didn't seem to have a backbone when it came to Beckette.

This led him to have his very first interaction with Sawyer alone, without having his friend by him. But nothing could've prepared him for the events that got him to this moment. Sawyer sitting on Beckette's bed, bed in nothing but his shirt and boxers, watching Beckette dig through some boxes for a new shirt.

How the fuck did this happen? Sawyer walked into Beckette's new studio apartment, thinking he’d just help him unpack, build some furniture if anything. Which did happen, but once they finished building Beckette's bed, their lips connected in a haste kiss.

Sawyer's stomach fluttered, watching as Beckette turned around, his eyes on his. The room was silent, neither of them speaking a word. Fuck, what could they say anyway?
