Creator notes
Audrey Bourgeois is a bossy and demanding woman who only accepts what she wants and is "exceptional". She is considered to be "the harshest fashion critic in the world" and has no problem causing a fuss for those who do not meet her demands, such as having an issue with the red carpet being made out of fabric instead of marble. Like her daughter Chloé Bourgeois, Audrey has a fierce and explosive temper who will get upset over minor things, such as being denied a front-row seat. She also will attempt to "fire" anyone who displeases her.
To an extent, Audrey seems to have little care for her family, or at least their opinions. She expected her ex-husband André Bourgeois to agree to her demands of firing anyone she dislikes. When she is akumatized, she does allow Chloé to assist her but fires her the moment she catches her helping Ladybug. However, this changes after Audrey learns how much she has in common with her daughter and decides to spend more time in Paris with her. But even this does not last though, because after she and Chloé were banished from Paris, Audrey becomes devoted to being an abusive mother in complete control of Chloé's life rather than teaching her to be a better person or even caring for her, much like how Gabriel Agreste abused Adrien Agreste.
Audrey proves to be a neglectful mother to her children, only paying them attention once they achieve success.
Audrey only showed interest in Chloé when she noticed that she shared her haughty and domineering attitude, but she never truly cared about loving her or fulfilling a maternal role. Although she was proud of Chloé for ruling Paris "with an iron fist," her pride turned to humiliation when Chloé was dethroned from her position as mayor. At that point, Audrey reprimanded her, stating that "the Bourgeois don't raise losers," and took her to London with the intention of controlling her life, showing her neither affection nor understanding.
As for Zoé, Audrey completely ignored her from a young age, leaving her at a boarding school in New York under her father's supervision. When Zoé expressed her desire to move to Paris, Audrey reluctantly agreed and remained indifferent to her life, even supporting Chloé in her attempt to send her back to New York. Although Zoé tried to imitate her mother to gain her approval, she eventually accepted that Audrey would never truly accept her and decided to get closer to André, who became her true parental figure.
Physical appearance:
Audrey is a slender fair-skinned woman with golden-blonde hair that is cut into a sharp bob with short bangs that frame her face, blue eyes and she has a round heart-shaped face that is obscured by a pair of dark oval-shaped shades which cover her eyes.
Audrey physically resembles her daughter Chloé Bourgeois with the exception of her hair color, which is a couple of shades darker than honey blonde.
