Don'dchutch- the youngblood -
Thousands of years ago, a newly formed clan of Yautja landed in the Appalachian mountains, back when the ancient bones of that dark place were still taller than everest, and filled with more secrets than anyone knew. They came to hunt a creature that humans now call an Acrocanthosaurus. However, while hunting the dinosaur they came upon something stronger, faster, more darkly ancient, and they decided to stay and become specialized in hunting these creatures.
Now, still hidden in the deepest hollars of the mountains, the clan still exists. They are dwindling in numbers, their last female dying in honorable combat with a large Deer type cryptid that hid a monstrous truth beneath its sleek brown fur. The males know of the humans, but they don't know if humans would mate with them. So, as Don'dchutch, the youngest of them, begind preparing for his first hunt. He doesn't prepare to come face to face with the hardest prey he's ever hunted. A human female who makes him chitter and purr with need.

Now he is old enough to choose a target for his first hunt, and he has chosen the creature that took his mother and his siblings. He has never seen a female Yautja, as he was still taking his first breath when his mother was killed. He also has never seen a female human before, but he has heard about the soft, delicate females from his family before. He would be fascinated to meet a human female, and to see if she could produce young with the brutal Yautja's of his clan. He carries a specialized silver looking scythe that has a plasmaedged blade, three throwing hatchets with the same blade edge, an energy bow that shoots bolts of plasma, severalnets made out of a specialized material that are housed in grenade like objects on his belt. He wears light armor made from the hide of a deep dragon his clan found within the mountains. This armor consists of a loincloth, belt, shoes, and bracers. He does not wear a shirt, nor does he wear the mesh like his brothers. He is also the shortest of his family, but still has a few years to grow.)

It was time, 60 years of being the baby, the pup, the runt. 60 years of doing the gross chores like cleaning kills, or keeping their dwelling clear of clutter. He didn't mind cooking for his father, uncle and brothers, but he hated cleaning up after them. He also hated not being allowed outside. Stuck in either the training caverns, the cooking area, or the cavern of elders for his history and honor lessons. All of that was behind him now. He was finally, finally, about to leave on his first hunt, and become a fully blooded member of his clan.
So, he gathered his things, packed his weapons, rations, and sleep gear. Then he walked to the entrance to their underground dwelling. Above him was an area that the humans called 'Cades Cove', a historical park in the middle of the great Smokey Mountains national park. They were hidden behind a false waterfall that their long dead elders built using their tech to shield them from the creatures they hunted and from the evolving human population that was growing quickly when the clan had first arrived. The doors would open when his father spoke the command, and Don'dchutch would set out to start his hunt.
One week later
He'd tracked the creature to it's lair, it nest for lack of a better term. A woven hole of dead thorny vines, bones, and a mucus it created. Which dried harder than steel. The creature was in it's true form, a two legged eldritch horror that looked like a deer from the waist down, but that resembled a cephalopod from the chest up. Don'dchutch never did understand how the creature truly fit into the small, fragile looking disguise that it wore to trick unsuspecting prey. All he knew, was that it was hard to kill, crafty, and that it would be his first trophy.
As he was setting up his hunting grounds, creating the killing field that would ensure his targets doom, he heard something odd. At first, it was low murmuring sounds, almost like the teasing sounds his brothers had made when he was a suckling. Then, as if an alarm had been tripped, a desperate, soul deep scream ramg through the Appalachian forest that surrounded him. Bouncing off the mountainsides that surrounded the holler they were in.
Without thinking, Don'dchutch took off. Determined to catch the creature while it was in it's weaker form to do some initial damage, before starting the true fight. What he saw when he rounded a large blackberry bush, stopped him cold.
The creature had a female in it's grasp. A beautiful, screaming, and fighting female. She wasn't Yautja, which meant she had to be one of the weak humans his father talked about... except... she wasn't acting weak. She was thrashing, using what looked like a broken stick to stab at the creature's soft tentacles, and screaming words that Don'dchutch could only assume were curses and threats. Based solely on the anger shimmering in her eyes.
He shook his head, clearing his thoughts, and focusing on the battle in front of him. He wouldn't allow the creature to take another female from her clan. So, he moved into the battle with a grace that shouldn't have been possible due to his stature and girth, and yet he moved like a hunting cat. He reached for one of his hatchets, throwing it at the ankle pf the creature and causing it to drop the human female. Don'dchutch reached down, scooped up the still fighting female, put her over his shoulder, and ran. Not out of fear, no, Yautja fear nothing, but out of cunning. He would lead this creature through the traps he'd laid, and then present it's skull to the female he carried.
What Don'dchutch had forgotten in his haste to become blooded, and to get revenge for his mother and lost siblings. Was that, giving a trophy to a female was tantamount to requesting she be his mate. All he knew in this moment, was that the hunt had begun, and that the writhing vicious female in his grasp was the most enchanting thing he'd ever seen.
