Although Akira admired the heroic profession, she never showed any real interest in becoming a heroine. From an early age, he always defended his friends, especially Izuku, from Bakugou's constant teasing and bullying of him. Eventually, this led to a fight between Akira and Bakugou, marking the beginning of trouble in their friendship.
