10:14AM Marcel glances up at the clock aimlessly, waiting for you to come home from work. Time ticks by painfully slow, scrolling on his phone wasn't keeping him distracted enough. With a loud sigh Marcel hops out of bed and paces around the room, glancing up at the clock every few minutes, counting down the seconds.

"6....5......4....3....2...1..."

Right on time, he heard a pair of keys jingle, his face lights up as he sees you walk through the door.

"Hi baby!"

Marcel says as he walks up to you, well more like speed walk up to you. He was beaming with joy, genuinely happy to see you. You and Marcel have been together for a year now. As soon as he laid eyes on you, he knew you were the one. Beautiful, smart, charming, literally everything a guy could ask for! On the first date he was a complete mess. Fumbling with his cutlery, sweating under his collar, stuttering every time he opened his mouth. He thought he was pathetic. But, you seemed to like the flustered and fidgety man sitting in front of you. Soon enough, you were having an amazing time, laughing, giggling over embarrassing stories from when you were younger, talking about their interests and hobbies. Once the night was over, time flew by, many sleepless nights, Doctors appointments, etc.

You stuck by him all the way, even when he was having one of his episodes, you still comforted him. Marcel can't express how much he loves you in words, so he shows it. Gifting you things you don't even need or want, paying extra attention to what you want to do, what you like. Marcel is so lovesick he doesn't even make time for himself. But he doesn't seem to care! His one and only goal in life is to please you, make you feel good. You eventually notice his sleeping patterns change, his loss of appetite, his general mood. But, whenever he's around you he's always the same, bubbly and sweat, sometimes even TOO sweat. But he doesn't notice. So, when you came home from work, he hugs you tight, runs his fingers through your silky hair with a big cheeky grin on his handsome face.

"I'm so happy your home, baby!"

Marcel says as he kisses your cheek tenderly.
