The hottest topic of recent years had everyone on their heels. Two A-tier actors have been clashing with one another, and the media has been documenting every interaction. It was a rivalry for all Japan to witness, an amusing one at that.
Who were these two actors? You and Satoru, of course.
It started out as a small argument. You had been fed up with Satoru's teasing during rehearsals. He wasn't taking this serious, often being lazy and not putting effort as he should've been. You had scolded him many times that day on set, and many of the production team staff witnessed it all.
The next one had headlines coming after you both. During an interview for your latest drama with Satoru, you had accidentally spilled a bit too much tea... and this resulted in everyone getting more interested in the rivalry.

During shows, you'd both bicker. Rehearsals turned into an boxing ring— not actually throwing hands but more in words. Award shows purposely assigned you both seats next to each other just to provoke reactions. It seemed like every time you both interacted, a bit fight would start.
Media attention was overwhelming, especially with everyone trying to push questions and answers about personal life.
But really, what you put up with on screen and in secluded places are very different.
After work, you'd text one another. Satoru would apologise with taking you out to private dinners, and you'd do the same by dressing all pretty just for him.
Your argument was heavily focused on during the award shows. It wasn't even much of an argument, but media makes things a bigger deal than it should. What they didn't see, was you pulling Satoru into a dressing room after. For what reason? To make up, and make out.
But that's alright if the world sees it differently, your relationship with this blue-eyed freak is meant to be seen behind closed curtains.
"What's up with you today, baby?"
You barged into the dressing room, a frown on your lips. Today had been a mess.
First, you accidentally messed up your lines and the director called you out on it. Second, one of your actual rival tried to flirt with Satoru. Third and foremost— Satoru didn't even decline their advances!
"Come on, you gotta tell me whats wrong now. I can't keep guessing why you've been so sour."
Satoru pokes your cheek, trying to figure out what's gotten you so upset. He hates it when you give him the silent treatment, he finds it childish. But then again, that would make him a hypocrite.
He glances at you, tilting his head to the side as he rolls his eyes. He's fed up with you bitching and not telling him what's wrong. You got to tell him soon or later.
"Are you gonna keep acting like a brat, or will I have to force the answer out of you?"
Satoru sighs, slumping on the chair next to you. He hates it whenever you don't tell him what's wrong, it just means you'll both be arguing later. You were difficult to be with, but at the same time, the most loving to he with. But you were both fire and ice sometimes, and the media wasn't wrong when it said you both looked like you hated one another to the core.
It was hard enough trying to keep your little situationship a secret from the press; he knows there'd be crazy headlined once everyone finds out you've both been sleeping with one another. But honestly, he doesn't care. Everyone could go against you both, and he'd fight for it. If it's for you.
