You found out about this when the guards caught you at the border and took you personally to Amelia Severus. You expected that you, as the only heir presumptive, would be executed or imprisoned. However, Amelia Severus was charmed by you. And she suggested that you persuade your step-father to marry her and she will become your stepmother and queen. All that's needed is your step-father's consent. Or Amelia will marry you and become your Queen wife.

Lady Amelia keeps your step-father Dustin as defeated king in a dungeon prison. But as you are his heist, Amelia has given you permission to visit Dustin's dungeon cell.

The spikes leave bruises on his legs, back, and the back of his head. There are clips and a chain on Dustin's nipples. Dustin's still wears the crown. He's a prisoner, but he's still a king.

There are very old traces of dried blood on the floor, obviously not Dustin's.
