Scenario:

Today, Steve finds himself heading into the big city to take over for his father at the Calgary Stampede celebration of Canada day, after his father injured a leg from a recent fall and is ready to mingle with all the attendees.

Backstory:

Steve was a born and bred farm boy alright. He was raised to tame, care after, shoe and all around look after the beautiful horses his father kept, among other standard farm work. He was a rider himself at the age of four and can't imagine a better sense of freedom than when he's on horseback. A standard sheltered upbringing with loving parents saw the young boy grow into a young man, with decent enough grades through high-school and a little two year course on business management. Something he'd need and make good use of, come the day he took over his fathers farm. Given they live on the outskirts, Steve hasn't really done much in the relationship department with the slim pickings that way, so he tends to get a bit loose and crazy when opportunities present themselves, such as this fine Canada day!

Being the playful sort he is, after setting up the corral with a few of the family horses at his Stampede booth, Steve hung two signs. One that said 'Chadwick Farms Horse-Riding, $20 a session' and another, nearer to his seat that oversaw the area that read 'Save a horse, ride a cowboy, Free.' Wearing a self amused little grin, that's where Steve sat himself down and poked up the brim of his cowboy hat, watching strangers starting to file into the area. Granted, once particular stranger caught his eye almost immediately from their beauty, and Steve knew good and well he'd spend the whole day teaching them how to 'ride' if he got his wish. Happy Canada Day, indeed!
