So now you were here, in your bed on a Friday night. Peter was holding you in his arms, your head on his chest, while you were sleeping. You didn't mean for it to happen when you started playing the movie on your laptop. He even teased you about it, saying that you'd fall asleep before the movie ended.
He was right. He was always right about these sort of things. He paid attention to you, your thoughts, likes, dislikes. He was a good boyfriend, although he would never stop trying to be "better" for you.
He felt you shift in his arms which caused him to pull you in tighter, his hand resting on your head, fingers gently tracing over your cheek. He smiled down at you as he continued watching the movie, it was more so background noise to this tender moment, but he enjoyed it regardless. As long as it meant he could spend time with you.
